#ZLB045 - Eagle Flying over the Capitol Building Broom Label
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. 6" tall vintage unused old stock broom label picturing an eagle flying over the capitol building. Marked "Quality Broom" "Consolidated Chem. Co. Memphis, Tennessee". Circa 1940s. Found in a defunct broom factory warehouse. These were labels that were used on broom handles. A lot of broom companies went out of business and the labels turn up in the old buildings occasionally. Unused old stock in excellent condition. Circa 1940s. We acquired these from a long time label dealer on the west coast that we bought out. Excellent unused condition.

#ZZCE049 - West Shore Railroad Company Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 13 3/4" wide stock certificate from the West Shore Railroad Company. All are from the 1930/40s and have signatures, but look much older. Really nice graphics. This railroad was organized by J.P. Morgan in 1885, and were bought by New York Central in the early 1950s, but still ran under the West Shore Name until around the mid 1960s. These have some typical folds, etc. They came from the estate of friend and famous dealer Bob Secrist.

#BEADSC0081 - Copper Ladder Charm That Opens and Closes
Vintage 7/8" tall copper coated steel ladder charm. The ladder folds out. These are old store stock from the late 1940s in unused condition. The copper has a nice patina. Steel charms with copper plating were mostly made right after WWII when the price of these metals was very cheap. The price escalated rapidly between 1946 and 1950 and almost all of the charm makers went over to plastic. These are U.S. made and were bought from the original maker many many years ago. This is a very scarce and unusual charm.

#DC230 - Group of 4 Rare Saleman Sample Milk Caps from the Piqua Cap Company
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 4 for $1 (that's 25¢ each). Vintage rare 42mm diameter salesman's sample milk cap. Says "Piqua Cap Div. Smith-Lee Co. Inc., Piqua, Ohio". They picture Spades, Clubs Diamonds, and Hearts around the perimeter, and are from around the 1940s. They are in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#MS296 - Super Kash Gambling Packets
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 41/2" tall sealed paper envelope packet says "Super Kash 84 Winners 7 tickets 25¢" etc.. Each one contains 7 numbered tickets and some were winners. These were sold at bars all over the country back in the day before they were outlawed as illegal gambling. These are from the 1940s (WWII era) and have a guy pictured counting his money in patriotic red, white, and blue colors.  Unused stock that probably got stored away when they became illegal.

#PC093 - Delights Assorted Chews Candy Box - As low as $2.50 each
Vintage 3" tall Wrigley's Doublemint Gum Wrapper. These were used, and then sent in for redemption for premiums back in the 1930s. They are in used condition as you might expect and show wear and tears. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.

These are from the day when the idea of advertising was to catch your attention. The images often had no relation to the product. This was pretty risque stuff back then. Unused stock in excellent condition that was found at the J. Vukasovich Co. in Watsonville, CA.
