#CS156 - Stoller's Honey Sample Cup with Lid
Vintage 1950s Stoller's Honey sample cup. These are 1 3/4" tall waxed cups illustrated with two bumblebees. They come with a cardboard lid that says "Ask for Stoller's Honey at your Grocery". They were free sample cups and are very colorful and very nice. Foundat the Stoller Honey Farms in Latty, Ohio.

#CS004 - Group of 3 Pinex Laxative Tins
You get 3 for $4.50 (that's only $1.50 each). Very old vintage tin in excellent condition. Found with the original invoice in the case that was dated 1914. 3 1/2" wide. Says "A pleasant and effective laxative for grown ups as well as for children. Keep out of reach of children, else they may eat them for candy." Found in the basement of The Pinex Company inFort Wayne, Ind. Vintage new old stock in unused condition.

Packers in Oakfield, NY. Circa 1940s. Colorful and nice image of a country boy with a farm scene in the background. These are nice and not real common. Excellent condition.

6" tall Sta-Green grass seed box. These are super colorful with a deco design box and from around the 1930s. Old stone litho image. Excellent unused condition. Folded flat.

#CS398 - Group of Two Full Bottles of Drew Pure Lemon Extract in Original Boxes
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image that shows both the box and the bottle contained in it. You get 2 full bottles in original boxes for $4 - That's $2 each. Vintage 4" tall cardboard package contains a deco style bottle that still has the Lemon Extract in it with a tin lid that has really nice patina. Says "Drew Absolutely Pure Extract Lemon" "Prepared by Drew Corporation Bklyn, N.Y." These were found at the Janney-Marshall Company warehouse in Fredericksburg, VA in unopened cases. They look to be from the 1920s. The boxes are a patriotic red, white, and blue and likely from right after WWI. It is very difficult to find this kind of stuff in this condition anymore at any price, but here they are. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one the largest long time dealers in country store items on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition. NO FOREIGN ORDERS as these are heavy.

#CS081 - Glattolin Collar Wax - Full Display
12 vintage full boxes of collar chafing wax in original display box. Great graphics as you can see in the picture. You get all 12 boxes and the display for only $10. Individual boxes are about 1 1/2" Square and contain a bar of the wax and a product advertising brochure. These are nice unused old store stock from around the 1910s. Marked "Made in Germany". Product was rubbed on your starched collar to keep it from chafing your neck.

#CS240 - Carded Bobby Pins with Cleopatra and Pyramids
Vintage 3 1/2" cardboard display card with 6 very large bobby pins. They picture Cleopatra, pyramids, and palm trees. They were made in Italy around the 1920/30s are are marked "Egizia" which is Italian for Egyptian. The cardboard shows typical aging as you would expect. These are unused old store stock.

Vintage 2 1/4" long box contains "100 Protex Gummed Cloth Patches". Nice bear logo and art deco design dating them to around the 1920s. We found these in the remote storage area of a store in northern Ohio. They are unsold old stock in excellent condition.

#CS344 - Full Nulli Secundis Brand Adhesive Tape Tin with Butterflies - As low as $1.50 each
Vintage 1 1/8" tall tape roll tin. These are lithographed tin with the tape still on them. They have a diecut butterfly on the front and butterfly on both sides. They are marked "Nulli Secundus Brand Adhesive Tape for Repairing Music & Books". These are still in original fancy display boxes. If you order 24, you will get a display box too. Unsold old store stock in great condition from an old store way up north. Unusual and scarce tin. The company went out of business in the late 1920s.

#CS414 - Pair of Large Janney's Pure Candy Boxes - Very Old

The smaller one is 6" deep. These are great display pieces. They have a very impactful look. One side says "Guaranteed by Janney-Marshall Co. under Food and Drugs Act June 30th 1906". They are from around 1910. They are in excellent condition for their age. The cardboard show some typical paper aging mostly at the edges. It kind of adds to the look. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Shipped folded flat.

Silver leaf background has a detailed picture of the house and says "Kenmore Pekoi & Orange  Pekoe Tea" "Janney Coffee Co. Fredericksburg, VA" "Kenmore (Built 1725) Standing in Frederickburg, VA. The home of Betty the sister of George Washington". These are very old. 1910/20s, and the only examples that have ever been found. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Shipped folded flat. Excellent unused condition.

#CS437 - Cork Top Glass Bottle of Whittemore's Cadet Shoe Polish in Original Box
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5" tall (including stopper) thick glass cork top bottle of Whittemore's Oiliquid Cadet Shoe Polish. How these survived in this kind of amazing condition, I will never know. Cork top bottle with a metal and cotton applier. They are in their  original boxes, and marked "Whittemore Bros. Corp." "Cambridge, Mass." Circa 1920. Very colorful box picturing the cadet. The contents are still in there, but they dried up a long time ago. Boxes may have a little bump or bruise here or there, and the labels on the bottles may have a smudge or small tear or two, but these are in incredible condition for their age. #CS103 - Mayets Laxative Tin
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Both sides pictured. Vintage 1 7/8" wide Mayets slide lid tin from Mechanicsburg, Ohio. They show a little aging, but are in overall nice condition. Unused 1940s stock from the Keller company. Brightly colored. Not a very common one. Not many were found. Back says they were prepared from May Apple, Cascara, Dandelion, Gentian Aloes, and Capsicum.

#CS395 - Large Special Capsules Slide Drawer Box from the Grund Drug Company in Fremont, Ohio

Vintage 3" long empty slide drawer box says "Special Capsules Allays the Common Cold Discomforts of Headache, Minor Muscular Aches and Pains, or Neuralgia" "Acetophenetidin, Aspirin, Caffeine, Gelsemium and Cascarin". They are in unused condition and from around the 1930s. They came from the building that was being renovated north of here in Fremont, Ohio.

Nice period graphics on the front. Patent date on bottom says "January 3, 1928". These are circa that time period. Sides tell how to use it to make homemade jam, jelly, and marmalade. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Never opened condition. They show some minor typical paper aging.

#DA062 - Group of 12 Very Old Waxed Vita Oleomargarine Boxes
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $12 (that's $1 each). Vintage 5" wide when folded together waxed box. They have a great image of a fist with electricity coming out of every side, and are marked "The Baltimore Butterine Co." "VITA OLEOMARGARINE" "Copyright May 18, 1925". They are from around the late 1920s. They are very uncommon and have gone for big prices before on Ebay. Also says "U. S. instpected and passed by Department of Agriculture" and has the same image on both sides, with writing on the other two and the "VITA" logo on each box end. Old stock from the long closed plants on Willard and Catherine Streets in Baltimore, MD.  These are folded flat and were never used. They are in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of famous dealer and friend, Bob Secrist.

#CS142 - Group of three 1946 Lucky Star Pencil Tablets
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 3 for $3 (That's $1.00 each). Vintage 10" tall writing tablets. They say pencil tablets on them and were standard school tablets of the day. They have advertising on them for contests you could win by sending in the covers. You could win bikes, watches, skates, etc. Says on them that the contest started in June 1946 and ran until June 1947, so they are from that time period. Nice unused old store stock in great condition. Got these out of an old store on the East Coast.

#CS407 - Full Box of Ten 1950s Acme Bandages
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image, and pictures of the bandages. Vintage 3 1/2" tall cardboard box contains ten bandages. These were packed in a master case in smaller cases in boxes, and so are just like new. The bandaids are heavier duty than what they make now and still useful. I tried one and they are thicker and stick a lot better. 1950s. Marked "Acme Zip-Strips" "Acme Cotton Products Co., Inc., Valley Stream, N. Y.". We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.
