#CS338 - Carded Commemorative 1953 Coronation Bobby Pins Featuring Queen Elizabeth - Seconds
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage commemorative bobby pin set that was made for Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1953. It has a striking picture of Queen Elizabeth from back in the day. The card is 3 3/4" tall and they are marked "Made in England". Unsold old store stock. These are uncommon. PLEASE NOTE - These all have either noticeable foxing, bends, or other imperfections.

#CS419 - Full Box of Speas Pen-Jel
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage colorful 3" tall full box of Speas Pen-Jel. Says "Makes the Jelly Jell". "Pen-Jel Corp. Kansas City, MO". Nice period graphics on the front. Patent date on bottom says "January 3, 1928". These are circa that time period. Sides tell how to use it to make homemade jam, jelly, and marmalade. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Never opened condition. They show some minor typical paper aging.

#DA062 - Group of 12 Very Old Waxed Vita Oleomargarine Boxes
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $12 (that's $1 each). Vintage 5" wide when folded together waxed box. They have a great image of a fist with electricity coming out of every side, and are marked "The Baltimore Butterine Co." "VITA OLEOMARGARINE" "Copyright May 18, 1925". They are from around the late 1920s. They are very uncommon and have gone for big prices before on Ebay. Also says "U. S. instpected and passed by Department of Agriculture" and has the same image on both sides, with writing on the other two and the "VITA" logo on each box end. Old stock from the long closed plants on Willard and Catherine Streets in Baltimore, MD.  These are folded flat and were never used. They are in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of famous dealer and friend, Bob Secrist.

#CS142 - Group of three 1946 Lucky Star Pencil Tablets
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 3 for $3 (That's $1.00 each). Vintage 10" tall writing tablets. They say pencil tablets on them and were standard school tablets of the day. They have advertising on them for contests you could win by sending in the covers. You could win bikes, watches, skates, etc. Says on them that the contest started in June 1946 and ran until June 1947, so they are from that time period. Nice unused old store stock in great condition. Got these out of an old store on the East Coast.

#CS407 - Full Box of Ten 1950s Acme Bandages
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image, and pictures of the bandages. Vintage 3 1/2" tall cardboard box contains ten bandages. These were packed in a master case in smaller cases in boxes, and so are just like new. The bandaids are heavier duty than what they make now and still useful. I tried one and they are thicker and stick a lot better. 1950s. Marked "Acme Zip-Strips" "Acme Cotton Products Co., Inc., Valley Stream, N. Y.". We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.

#CS504 - Full Box of Soft Spun Sanitary Tissues

They are marked "Soft Spun Sanitary Tissues" "Stevens & Thompson Paper Co. Greenwich, N. Y.". Soft Spun Sanitary Tissues were trademarked in 1939, so they are likely from the 1940s. Nicely illustrated box shows uses on one side, and has a perforated opening on the other. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage 2 5/8" long empty slide drawer box says "Special Capsules Allays the Common Cold Discomforts of Headache, Minor Muscular Aches and Pains, or Neuralgia" "Acetophenetidin, Aspirin, Caffeine, Gelsemium and Cascarin". They are in unused condition and from around the 1930s. They came from the building that was being renovated north of here in Fremont, Ohio.

Vintage 4 3/8" tall cardboard card with 12 different colors of darning thread on them. They are circa 1930s or older and marked "Ninon Stranded Lisle Darning" "Super quality made in 12 shades" "Made in England". The darning thread is made of mercerised cotton according to the master carton. These are old store stock that is unused and in remarkably good condition.

#CS518 - Large Unfilled Envelope for Dref's Headache Powders

Says "Dref's Headache Powders for Headache and Neuralgia" Gives Directions and is marked "Guaranteed by the Pure Food and Drug Acts of 1906". These are from no later than the 1910s. The reverse has the same info in German. Also marked "Prepared by Charles A. Drefs Wholesale and Retail Druggist 280 & 282 Broadway Buffalo, New York". These are unused old stock in excellent unfilled and unused condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.

These are circa 1900 and are in good condition. They were found many years ago at the Lynas warehouse in Logansport, IN. They are marked The Logan Fabric Company. The back says "THE BELT" "is made from the finest fabric and pure rubber" etc. Said it could be reused. Great image on the front.

The back side tells all about it, and the sides list other extracts that they sold. These are unused old stock still folded flat that were found many years ago at the abandoned factory building in Chicago. They will be shipped folded flat. Circa 1920s.

#BEADS0692 - Display Card with Contraption for Restringing Bead Necklaces - Japan
Vintage 4 1/4" tall display card picturing a vintage lady wearing a necklace. Has 72 inches of nylon cord and a metal clasp on it.  Says "For restringing Bead Necklaces" "Nylon Bead Cord" "After all beads or pearls are strung, draw cord through clasp ring and back through about four pearls or beads and tie invisible knot". Back says "Made in Japan". These are unsold old store stock from the late 1950s we found in an old store up in the northeast. They had never seen the light of day.
