#BEADS0692 - Display Card with Contraption for Restringing Bead Necklaces - Japan
Vintage 4 1/4" tall display card picturing a vintage lady wearing a necklace. Has 72 inches of nylon cord and a metal clasp on it.  Says "For restringing Bead Necklaces" "Nylon Bead Cord" "After all beads or pearls are strung, draw cord through clasp ring and back through about four pearls or beads and tie invisible knot". Back says "Made in Japan". These are unsold old store stock from the late 1950s we found in an old store up in the northeast. They had never seen the light of day. Marked "Janney-Marshall Co., Inc. Fredericksburg, VA.". Circa 1950s. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent condition with a little minor age crazing.

The bottles are in there and full. These would make a great store display piece. They are bundled with a cardboard wrapper that says "Free Space Map with Front Panels from 2 Griffin Scuff Cover Boxes". On the side it tells where to mail them to and says "This offer void after Dec. 31, 1961. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. This shampoo was a popular one in the late 1950s. It was made by Procter and Gamble, and you can see the Procter and Gamble name through the shampoo on the back of the label. The shipping date on the master case was 1958. This style box was used from about 1958 - 1962. Every box is unused and full of cough drops. Nice ad illustration on the back for the Vicks Inhaler. If you order 20, you will get a master carton still wrapped in cellophane which has "10¢ each" printed on it. Excellent condition. NO FOREIGN ORDERS ON THIS ONE.

#CS468 - Full Glass Bottle of Holler's Strawberry Flavored Concentrate - Bakelite Lid
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5 1/8" tall unopened full bottle (contents are still in there) of Holler's Strawberry Flavored Concentrate. The label has a great image of a lady taking a drink. The lid is Bakelite. The marks on the glass date it to the 1930s (the company went out of business in the 1940s). Some of them have dried up a little. Just put add a little water and they will come right back. The paper labels may have a some very small imperfections, but so will you when you are 90 years old! These are nice, and needless to say, these are collectibles and not to be consumed. #CS357 - Full Display Card of Deco Dress Clips from the 1920s
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. These are unbelievable. Vintage 8 1/2" tall display card has a dozen 1 3/4" wide real carved deco design early Bakelite type plastic dress clips attached. To give you an idea of the age, click the picture to see the backs. They were hand sewn onto the cards. The back of one is also shown in the larger picture with the standard back that was used for dress clips during this time period (1920s). They came from an old beauty supply store where, from what we can tell, they were stuffed away when the Great Depression hit in 1929. The cards are dusty and have bends. The clips are in unused mint condition under the dust.

#CS441 - Bukets Five Grain Tablets Box
Clcik the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 3 1/4" wide (2" deep) unused empty "Bukets" box. Says "one-fourth dozen boxes 5 grain". These held 3 large tins or boxes with 25 tablets in each. These are from around the 1930s. Marked "Keller Company Mechanicsburg, Ohio" which is where they were found. They are in excellent condition for their age with a little typical no harm aging. They will be shipped folded flat. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.
