#PL373 - Pinback Commemorating the 2004 Opening of the Bill Clinton Presidential Center

Clinton Presidential Center" "Thursday, November 18, 2004". The reverse has an old tag where they were marked down twice to 50¢ at the "Clinton Museum Store". Excellent unused condition.

#PL395.5 - Group of 4 Never Forget Sept. 11, 2001 Enamel Pinbacks

These were made very shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York for people to wear as a show of patriotism. They are a non-partisan reminder that when the going gets tough, all Americans stand together. They are just as relevant today, and can still be worn. Excellent unused condition.

They both say "Clinton Gore Rapid Response Team" and the pin has the Union mark on the bottom. These were never used and are in excellent condition.

##MUSICBP1164 - Group of 3 Different Nelson Mandela OTTO Laminated Backstage Passes from the 1990 Free South Africa Celebration at Oakland Stadium
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the passes. You will get three passes as pictured for $9 (that's $3 each). Vintage 4 1/4" tall unmarked OTTO laminated backstage passes. These are from the Nelson Mandela appearance and musical celebration at Oakland Stadium on June 30, 1990 and are marked as such. There is one for production, one for performers, and one for stage hands.

Mandela had been imprisoned for various things over the years related to his activities to free South Africa, and was released for the last time on February 11, 1990 just a couple of months before this celebration of South Africa's freedom in Oakland. In 1993, he won the Nobel Peace Prize, and on May 10, 1994 he became South Africa's first democratically elected president. It's an incredible story. The passes are in excellent unused condition.

#DC226 - Scarce George Washington Milk Bottle Cap
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 34mm diameter milk cap. Says "George Washington Our 1st President 1789 - 1797". They were never used, but show some staple rust (the one in the picture is typical). This is a hard one to find to complete the set. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

Vintage 1 3/4" diameter pinback. The interest in Clinton era pinbacks has really picked up. Marked Slater. Excellent unused condition. These are good quality. Pinbacks like these picturing both candidates are called jugates and are always more valuable.

#PL300 - Rare 1976 Reagan Pre-Primary BBQ Ticket - He didn't win that year
Vintage 6 1/2" wide unused ticket for what it say was Governor Ronald Reagan's only pre-primary county appearance. Of course, he lost that primary, but won the next two and was president for 8 years. Marked "San Luis Obispo County Citizens for Reagan Beef Barbeque". Says the report on this was filed with the Federal Election Commission. The colors vary a little. These are very rare and have gone for big prices in the past on Ebay. Excellent unused condition.

Jugates (pins with pictures of both the president and vice presidential candidates) have always been the most collectible of the political pinbacks. Over time, they have been a good investment (which, of course, is no guarantee they will do so in the future).

On the front it features "Civic Fest, A Very Minnesota Celebration, Celebrating Minnesota and American History, Democracy, and the U.S. Presidency, Delegate". The reverse says "Minnesota takes center stage hosting the 2008 Republican Convention". This event took place between August 29 - September 4, 2008.

#CH319 - Group of 12 Well Made Pope John Paul II Keychains (Now St. John Paul the Great)
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $3 (that's 25¢ each). Vintage large heavy duty well made brass souvenir Pope John Paul II keychain. The chain part is gold colored and made to last. The cathedral shaped fob is thick plastic and has different pope pictures on each side. The pictures show a young Pope Paul II and are probably from his original election in 1978, but are no later than the 1980s. He was officially proclaimed Saint John Paul the Great in 2014. These are very high quality and in excellent unsold condition. LIMIT 2 ON FOREIGN ORDERS - These are very heavy.
