Vintage National Strawberry Soda plastic lined soda bottle caps. Unused, and in nice condition. These were found at an old bottling plant in Saginaw, MI. Circa 1970s. This one doesn't photograph well due to the reflection, but is a very nice looking cap. $0.80 #BC130 - Group of 10 Mr. Pibb Soda Bottle Caps - Coca Cola Product You get 10 for $1.00 (that's 10¢ each). Vintage unused plastic lined Mr. Pibb soda caps. These are from around the 1970s and are in excellent unused condition. Found in the Jefferson City Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Jefferson City, MO. Marked Bottled under the authority of the Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mr. Pibb was a regional drink that was introduced by Coca Cola Mr. in 1972 to compete against Dr Pepper. It had a very similar taste, but was sweeter and not as sharp as Dr Pepper. It is still sold in some areas. $1.00 #SP009 - Group of 8 Schmidt's Light Beer Coasters You get 8 vintage Schmidt's Light Beer coasters for $1.20 (that's 15¢ each). These are vintage 3 1/2" wide coasters that say "One beautiful beer" on the reverse. Old bar stock around 30 or so years old. $1.20 #PL093 - McGovern Round Pinback - Colors Vary Vintage 1 1/8" or larger round McGovern pinback. Leftovers from the 1972 presidential election when he lost in a landslide to Richard Nixon. Unused condition. All have the union mark. Vintage plastic lined Brewers Old Style Root Beer soda caps. Found in a bottling plant in Reading, PA. They are in excellent condition. Don't know the exact age, but looks 1970s or possibly later. These came from the Southwest Dr. Pepper Bottling plant in Monett, MO. and are in unused condition. These were found at the Howel's Beverage Co. in Pittsburgh, PA. Circa 1970s. $0.80 #TY043 - Tin Toy Panda Yo Yo Vintage 1 1/4" diameter tin toy yo-yo with a Panda pictured. They are commemorative type toys that were sold all over the country when president Richard Nixon returned from China in 1972 with the Pandas he received as gifts. They would have been made in 1972 or 1973. Found a batch of unsold ones still hanging out in an old distributorship. They are tin and are marked Hong Kong. About half are red and the other half are blue. If you order more than one, you will get both colors. These came from a Dr. Pepper plant in Hillsboro, IL and are in unused condition. These are very early plastic caps. We found these in a bottling plant in Hagerstown, MD. They are in excellent condition. This is an early plastic cap and is from around 1970. $0.80 #ZLBE024 - Old Blue Canadian Pilsner Beer Label Vintage 3 1/2" tall 1970s beer label picturing a bull. Unused stock in nice condition from Uncle Ben's Breweries of Alberta, Canada. Has 5¢ deposit marked on it. They are in very good condition. $0.70 #SOR002 - Group of 5 Royal Crown (RC) 7up Cups You get 5 for $1 (that's 20¢ each). 4 1/2" tall vintage soda cup. Has the Royal Crown (RC) on one side and Seven Up on the other. I'm not sure why these cups were made, as they have a Royal Crown logo on one side and a 7up logo on the other. Yet 7up and RC are made by completely different companies. Maybe it was some sort of joint promotion. Found in an old soda plant. Logos look like they are from the 1970s. Soda cups are popular with collectors because they are still inexpensive. You can assemble an incredible collection for less than a hundred bucks.
