Vintage 11 3/4" tall. 36 pages of floats from the 1940 Tournament of Roses Parade. This issue is really neat. It has a full page showing Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy who were the Grand Marshalls that year. These pages are very frameable and these books often go for $25 - $40 in used condition. These are in mint shape although you may find a page or two that sticks together a little. They were found in a shed in the Pasadena, California area many years ago.

#MS062 - Novelty Unicorn and Rainbow Salt and Pepper Shakers in Box
Vintage circa 1970 novelty salt and pepper shakers in their original 4" wide box. These are in amazing condition and could still be used. They picture a unicorn and rainbow and were made long before unicorns and rainbows became popular with gay collectors. I've never seen these before and am pretty sure they will sell for a premium price. I found these in the in the basement of an old novelty distributorship in the Columbus, Ohio area. These should retail in the $8 - $12 range.
$3.50
#MS061 - Novelty Figural Mini Mason Jar Salt and Pepper Shakers in Box
Vintage 1960s figural novelty salt and pepper shakers shaped like mini mason jars in their original 3" wide box. They even have gaskets like real mason jars. Mason jar salt and pepper shakers are super collectible and this version is extremely uncommon. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen them anywhere before. They all have a visible glue line around the base. This is not a defect. This is the way they were made. Novelty salt and pepper shakers are very popular with collectors. Ones like this in the original box are very difficult for them to find and command a premium price. I found these in the in the basement of an old novelty distributorship in the Columbus, Ohio area. The boxes had never been opened and they are in amazing condition.
$3.50

#MS020 - Big Brother Overalls Snap
Vintage 5/8" diameter copper and steel front snap for overalls. We picked these up at a garage sale in Fairhaven, Ohio. They came from a lady in her 90s whose husband had worked at a local company that made overalls in the 1950s. She had thrown them in a mason jar. Interestingly, we found several refences to Big Brother and overalls in George Orwells book 1984. Perhaps, that was the inspiration for the name of the overalls. In any case, these are in great condition.
