#TY139 - Pack of 4 Larger Tin Litho Japanese Emergency/Utility Cars
Vintage 1960s set of Japanese tin litho cars in original header bag. Includes a police car, fire chief car, ambulance, and taxi. Each car is 2 1/4" long which is bigger than most of these types of vehicles. Old factory stock in excellent condition. Actually unsold stock from the factory in Japan. They got stuck with a bunch of this stuff because none of the packaging had the child protection wording on it. Marked Made in Japan. These are very nice and Police, Fire Chief, and Yellow Taxi vehicles are very collectible. These are a steal at this price.

They are about the same size as a playing card and were clear coated with a sealer like playing cards that has kept them in excellent condition. ZZCA032 - Frisco Railway Letterhead
Vintage 7" tall notepad sheets with brightly colored Frisco Railway letterhead. The Frisco is a defunct U.S. railroad that operated in the Midwest and South Central U.S. from 1876 to 1980. These are an interesting story. This summer we took a vacation in Branson, MO and heard stories of a fellow who had gotten lots of stuff out of the old Frisco Railway depot when in closed around 1980. We never did find the fellow, but one of the local antique dealers had this stack of letterhead that he got from the fellow we never found. It was in an old string tied bundle that looked pretty beat up, but much to our amazement the sheets were like new when we got down below the first three or four. I'm not sure of the exact date as from what I've been able to look up there were many types of Frisco trains, but I'm guessing from the style of the one in the picture that they are probably from the 1950s.
$0.35
#CA010 - Group of 4 Union Pacific Overland Route Toothpicks in Wrappers
You get 4 for $1 (that's 25¢ each). 3" wide toothpick packages says Union Pacific The Overland Route and has the old Union Pacific logo on it. Each wrapper contains two toothpicks. These came from a fellow who used to buy old stock out of the Union Pacific commissary in the 1970s, and so they are in excellent unused condition. We're estimating they are from the 1950s, but by the looks of the box, they could be even older. These are the only examples we've ever seen of these and the Overland Route was discontinued in 1971, so they should be a pretty good item for resale.
$1.00

The lady is a Myrna Loy look alike, the pink flamingo is desirable, and there is a picture of an American Airline Stewardess on the back. The back says that it is the official Bob Pin of the American Airline Stewardesses and has stewardess "Marian Negaard" saying "Our high neatness standards demand perfectly groomed hair". Dated 1950. Old beauty shop stock. Unusual to say the least. Has appeal to country store, beauty care, pink flamingo, and airline collectors alike.

Vintage 6 1/2" wide two sided 1956 paper menu cards from the Pennsylvania Railroad. They say they were cards "outlining meal offerings for use in soliciting special party business traveling in Pullman and Coach equipment". They must have been very fancy cars indeed as the prices were quite high for the 1950s. They list a 14 ounce Sirloin for $7.50 and Broiled Lobster for $8.00. The menu has some fancy items on it. The least expensive was Breast of Duckling Bigarade for $4.25. Items and prices are listed on both sides. Each one is dated November 1, 1956. Stock from an old railroad depot.
