##MUSICBP2004 - Grateful Dead Tour Sticker/Decal - Bertha in Ring of Roses
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5" tall Grateful Dead sticker/decal. These are high quality art decals. This type sticks on the outside of glass or a mirror. It is in mint condition and can still be used. They are likely from around the mid to late 1980s and feature the famous Grateful Dead character deemed "Bertha" after one of their songs. This has a yellow Bertha skull peering out from a wreath of roses.

These Grateful Dead stickers/decals are old tour merchandise. I found them wrapped in plastic in boxes in master cases. They came from a distributor who sold them to tour vendors. The condition is pristine and they still will work as a car decal or window/mirror sticker. We found them packed away in storage boxes dated 1992 (many are older than that) and 1995 (year Jerry Garcia died). They are high quality artist renderings of Grateful Dead themes. Back in the day, the Dead did not monitor copyrights and that sort of thing, and in fact, at one point encouraged artists to do designs. The LA times explained it well “The Grateful Dead was famously lax in enforcing it’s intellectual property rights and trademarks, allowing fans to create their own designs using the band’s expansive iconography”. Since there was no serious monitoring or much concern back then, a lot of up and coming artists got involved in designing them. This is how some of them got their starts. Some of the sticker artists who designed these stickers went on to produce official licensed works for the Grateful Dead and other famous groups. These stickers include some by now famous designers including David Opie, and others. These 1995 and older stickers are very hard to find anymore.

##MUSICBP2007 - Large Grateful Dead Car Window Tour Sticker/Decal - Egypt Tour

This one is from around the mid 80s or earlier. It features a skeleton on a camel with roses, and says "Egypt". These are about the Grateful Dead Egypt Tour which happened in 1978.

##MUSICBP0359 - 1981 Cloth Backstage Pass from the Foreigner "4" Tour with James Dean Picture
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. Vintage 4 3/4" tall 1981-82 backstage pass from the Foreigner "4" Tour. Nice picture of James Dean. These are in excellent unused condition.

Foreigner is one of the very best selling groups of all time with sales of over 80 million albums and hits we all know like "Feels Like the FIrst Time" "Cold as Ice" "Dirty White Boy" "Long, Long Way from Home" "Hot Blooded" "Double Vision" and many more. When this pass was issued in 1982, they were the headliners with Ozzy, LeRoux, and Loverboy as the backup acts. Somehow they have been repeatedly overlooked for Grammys, Hall of Fame Awards, etc. year after year, but they sold more records than almost anyone. Because of their lack of limelight, they are a group you hear all the time, and know the words to many of their songs, but their name doesn't sound all that familiar. They need to protest. They belong in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
