This department has items that are super cheap. Many are priced at 10 - 20% of retail. We have a number of different items that we have bought in large quantity over the past few years that we bought right and can sell at these prices. Some are our very best sellers.

#TZCards144 - 12 Different Horoscope Cards with Witches and Black Cats

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 different astrology cards for $6 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 5 3/8" tall Exhibit Supply Horoscope Reading Cards. These are fantastic and should be a hit with the Halloween collectors and card collectors. They picture a lady fortune teller with black cats, bats, owls, frogs, and witches on brooms printed all over the card. Each one has the same pictures on it, but different horoscope readings. The copyright date is 1925, which is the date the machines that dispensed these for a penny were originally made. The Exhibit Supply Company made them for the machines for many years after. These are very uncommon cards. These are super rare and in near perfect condition.

We have a large lot of Exhibit Supply cards that we found in unopened bricks (you can see a picture of some of the bricks at the top of this department (Trading Card Shop). They are from a closed penny arcade. This is about the only way you would ever be able to find complete sets. The problem still is that there are more of some cards than others, so we can't assemble as many sets as you might think. These cards are uncommon. They are difficult to date because many of the machines were in production in the 1930s and 40s, but Exhibit Supply made cards for many of them all the way up to the early 1970s. The tale end stuff generally used lighter colored cardboard backing and printing on the bricks was stamped. The older ones have separate printed labels. So, we are using that info and the aging on the brick wrappers to estimate dates. The arcade must have bought the bricks of these during different time periods. Some are the light backs and some are the darker backs. We'll call it circa 1950s as some of these bricks are really old.

#CS496 - Updated Set of 20 Different Pharmacy Bottle Labels

Click the picture to see a large picture of a typical group. You will get 20 different vintage pharmacy bottle labels for $3.00 (that's 15¢ each). The sizes vary, but they average about 2 1/2" wide. They are from pharmacies all over the country and vary in age from around the 1880s to the 1940s. This is mostly different from previous sets and contain at least ten poisons, some with skulls and crossbones. There are some real unusual concoctions here. They are great for old bottles. Pharmacies used whatever bottles they had on hand, so there is no specific bottle that goes with these labels. Go pick up some cork top bottles for a quarter at your local flea market and stick these labels on them. You can sell the bottles for $3 - $5 each. If you order more than one set, there will be some different ones in each group. No two groups will be identical.

#CC264.5 - Group of 12 Coca Cola Giveaway Booklets with Safety Sue

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $18 (that's $1.50 each). Vintage 16 page full color 6 3/4" tall Coca Cola booklet. The cover says "Safety Sues Says I Play Safe So Can You". Inside are colorful pages showing safety rules. The booklet is dated 1951 and the drawn pictures are classic from that time period. It pictures the old style stop lights and talks about Sue's brother the patrol boy. It also pictures rag dolls, roller skates and old cars. Very nostalgic The back says "Presented in the Interest of Safety to the Children of our Community by the Coca Cola Bottling Co." It also pictures a Coke bottle and says "Drink Coca Cola in Bottles Pure, Wholesome, and Refreshing" "Tell your parents to keep a few bottles in your icebox at home". These are in sealed envelopes that you have to rip open to get the booklet out. The booklets are in perfect condition. These were in an old Coke plant and were never addressed for mailing. They are unusual and very very nice.

You get 12 pairs of earrings for $4 (that's 33¢/pair). Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage mid 1960s mod era plastic earrings. These are good quality. The designs are all mod geometrics (mod was the twiggy era with bright colors and geometric shapes). There are many different types and styles. All are the mod geometrics. They may vary substantially from the picture, but are all mod designs (they were all prepacked in groups of 12 at the factory). We recently found these in cases dated 1966 in an old warehouse up north. These are a real steal at this price. Retail is $3/pair and up. We found a lot of them, so we are able to price them extremely low. Old stock in unused never seen the light of day condition.
