#CS557.1 - Nicely Illustrated Group of 3 Kitchen Approved Tomato Boxes
The front and side of the box are pictured. Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 3 for $3 (that's $1 each). Vintage 7" wide (when folded together) box. These are unusual. They are cardboard boxes with a cellophane top so that you could see the tomatoes. Brightly colored red, white, blue, and yellow images on the front and sides are striking and have an old time farm look. The same images are on both sides. They are circa 1950, and marked "Kitchen Approved Fancy Selected Tomatoes". They will be shipped folded flat, and are easy to fold together. They were in an original shipping crate, and have never seen the light of day. Everything including the cellophane windows are still in perfect condition.

They say "The Cami-Catch Lingerie Guard"  "Attach Safety Pin to inside of dress" "Fasten Ribbons around your lingerie straps" "Newey Brothers" "Birmingham, England". Circa 1950. Nice unused old stock from we recently rescued.

#CS550 - Display Card with Newey's Hair Do Foundation Rollers
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 8" tall tall thin cardboard display card with 9 foundation rolls attached. Fronts are marked "Newey's Hair Do Soft Foundation Roll" "Made in England by Newey Bros.". Reverse gives directions and illustrations for how to use them. 1950s. These are in excellent unused condition. Very few curler/roller display cards of any type have survived, and the prices for these on Ebay are surprisingly high. Ones in really good condition like this have been selling for around $12 - $20.

#CS545 - Card of Six World War II Era Buttons
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 1/8" display card with 6 bright red buttons. "Superior Quality" was a brand name. They were a very early plastic maker that made patriotic buttons during WWII. Marked "Made in U.S.A.". We just found the red ones, but they made red, white, and blue, and even some shaped like airplane propellors. These are unsold old store stock in great condition that the we recently rescued.

#CS554 - Carded Paulette Hair Accessory
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5" tall thin cardboard display card holds two rings with clips wrapped in cellophane (colors vary). Pictures a girl with a classic mid 1960s updo, and from that time period. Unsold old store stock in excellent condition.

#CS533 - Gay Girl Hair Clip on Display Card
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. This is a 3 1/4" display card from the 1950s that says "Gay Girl". It had a different meaning back then. "Gay" was the brand name. They are unsold old store stock that we recently rescued. They are in unused condition, but may have some slight curls or imperfections on the cards from being stacked in storage so long.  Very rare item.

#CS536 - Full Package of 144 Fletcher Wicks for Petroleum Oils
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage package of 144 8" long wicks. You get 144 for $14.40 (that's 10ยข/wick). The tag on the outside says "Fletcher Wick for Petroleum Oils International Braid Co. Providence, R.I." The wicks are still useful and in great condition. The package is string tied and the wrapping paper is old and brittle with tears. The tags on the end (as you see in the picture) all appear to be in good shape.They are unsold old store stock that we recently rescued. They are from around the 1930s, and are in excellent unused condition.

#CS530 - Early Renwal (Renwal Toys) - Vitex Plastic Strainer on Display Card

These are plastic strainers on a 6 3/4" display card that say "Vitex Plastic Strainer Will Not Rust or Tarnish" "A Renwal Product made in the U.S.A.". (Renwal info is in the lower left corner of the card). These are very early plastic from the late 1930s when plastic was considered the new miracle product that wouldn't rust. This is a super rare item. When Renwal first went in business in the late 1930s, they started out as one of the very first makers of plastic housewares such as this one. By 1940, they converted to a toy maker. Renwal is highly collected, and every Renwal toy collector needs one of these to represent how the company started. These would appeal to Renwal and early plastic collectors. The shipping box they were in had their original Broadway address on it. The cards have some minor curling (the one in the picture is typical), but they are in great condition for their age.

#CS529 - Solo Sleep Easy Brush Rollers with 4 Roller Pins on Display Card

Marked "Solo Sleep Easy Rapid-Dry Brush Rollers with 4 roller pins" ""1959 Solo Products Corp. N.Y.". These are in excellent unused condition. Very few curler/roller display cards of any type have survived, and the prices for these on Ebay are surprisingly high. Ones in really good condition like this have been selling for around $12 - $20.

#CS531 - Invisible Shoulder Comforts on Original Display Card - Cellophane Wrap

They are wrapped in cellophane and on on a 6 3/4" display card that says "Invisible Shoulder Comforts" "Invisible in Wear" "Removable Enameled Fittings". They are unsold old store stock that we rescued. They are from around 1940 and are in excellent condition.

#CS578 - Group of 12 Stoller's Honey Sample Cups with Lids

These are 1 3/4" tall waxed cups illustrated with two bumblebees. They come with a cardboard lid that says "Ask for Stoller's Honey at your Grocery". They were free sample cups and are very colorful and very nice. Found at the Stoller Honey Farms in Latty, Ohio.

#CS224 - Cabissmann's Jiffy Strop Dressing Box
Vintage circa 1920s 4 1/2" wide empty Jiffy Strop box. Nice old time picture of a shaver.  These are nice looking. They are old stock that was never used from the plant in Springfield, MO, and are in excellent condition. Shipped flat. A quantity of these was found many years ago, but they are nearly impossible to find now and look great as part of an old country store display.

#CS073 - Blue Boy Kidney Beans Bag

Packers in Oakfield, NY. Circa 1940s. Colorful and nice image of a country boy with a farm scene in the background. These are nice and not real common. Excellent condition.

#CS168 - Sta-Green Grass Seed Box
6" tall Sta-Green grass seed box. These are super colorful with a deco design box and from around the 1930s. Old stone litho image. Excellent unused condition. Folded flat.

#CS398 - Group of Two Full Bottles of Drew Pure Lemon Extract in Original Boxes
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image that shows both the box and the bottle contained in it. You get 2 full bottles in original boxes for $4 - That's $2 each. Vintage 4" tall cardboard package contains a deco style bottle that still has the Lemon Extract in it with a tin lid that has really nice patina. Says "Drew Absolutely Pure Extract Lemon" "Prepared by Drew Corporation Bklyn, N.Y." These were found at the Janney-Marshall Company warehouse in Fredericksburg, VA in unopened cases. They look to be from the 1920s. The boxes are a patriotic red, white, and blue and likely from right after WWI. It is very difficult to find this kind of stuff in this condition anymore at any price, but here they are. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one the largest long time dealers in country store items on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition. NO FOREIGN ORDERS as these are heavy.

#CS081 - Glattolin Collar Wax - Full Display
12 vintage full boxes of collar chafing wax in original display box. Great graphics as you can see in the picture. You get all 12 boxes and the display for only $10. Individual boxes are about 1 1/2" Square and contain a bar of the wax and a product advertising brochure. These are nice unused old store stock from around the 1910s. Marked "Made in Germany". Product was rubbed on your starched collar to keep it from chafing your neck.

The one pictured is blue, but there are a few green mixed in. These are unused old store stock in great condition from around the 1920s. They could be older.

#CS284 - Early Dwarf Nasturtium Seed Box
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the box. Vintage 3 1/2" tall cardboard box when folded together. Circa 1910 Dwarf Nasturtium seed box. The sides of the box have fancy victorian decoration and the back tells all about the plants and how to plant the seeds. These are unused old stock in excellent condition and would be fantastic as a part of any country store display.

#CS240 - Carded Bobby Pins with Cleopatra and Pyramids
Vintage 3 1/2" cardboard display card with 6 very large bobby pins. They picture Cleopatra, pyramids, and palm trees. They were made in Italy around the 1920/30s are are marked "Egizia" which is Italian for Egyptian. The cardboard shows typical aging as you would expect. These are unused old store stock.
