#ZLB007 - Group of 4 Risque Lady Broom Labels
You get 4 for $2 (that's 50¢ each). 6" tall vintage unused stock broom label picturing a lady in a low cut dress, short skirt and apron. Very unusual for the time period. These must have been considered downright scandalous when they were used on broom handles in the 1940s. Found in a defunct broom factory warehouse in Illinois. A lot of broom companies went out of business in the 1940s and 1950s when vacuum cleaners took their place in the American household.

#CH094 - Mr. Peanut Planters Gift Box
7" wide vintage cardboard box with great graphics on it. Unused stock from an old peanut store. Circa 1940s. They have the old Mr. Peanut pictured on the top of the box and around all four sides. They are marked "National Peanut Corporation" (defunct) which was the mark used by the Mr. Peanut retail stores which used to be all over the country. Shipped folded flat.

#ZLC119 - Nuchief Loop Loop Apple Crate Label
Vintage 10 1/4" wide Nuchief Loop Loop apple crate label. It doesn't show up well in the scan, but this label has a fantastic inset image of an Indian chief picking an apple off of a tree while riding his horse. Very nice. Circa 1940s. This label is extremely difficult to find in this excellent unused condition. Old stock from the Wenatchee, WA area.

Vintage 6 3/8" wide Vogue Hairnet package with the net still inside. These are very colorful and circa 1940s. Marked Glemby Co., Inc. Unused old store stock in wonderful condition. This was one of the more popular brands at that time. You don't see them that often because they usually sold through.

Vintage 9 1/4" square Honest John yam label. These were found at the Bockmon Distributor in Pittsburg,TX and are in excellent unused condition. They have a 1926 copyright date on them, but based on the lithography are more likely from around the 1940s. Great image. Good seller to anyone named John.

#ZLC148 - Three Different very 1940s Citrus Labels
You get all three for $1 (that's 33¢ each). Triangle plays off of the Bermuda Triangle that fascinates people still to this day. It pictures a young man in the popular monogrammed shirts of the day ringing a musical triangle and standing in the middle a triangle with circular waves around it. It was a hot new topic during this time period. Rita-Anne and Ruby are both feature classic 1940s ladies. All three of these are unused stock from the Lake Region Packing Assn. in Tavares, FL. Nice condition. Triangle is the largest and is 9" wide. 1940s.
