#CC254 - Coca Cola Dry Server Picturing a Girl Carrying her Roller Skates at a Coke Cooler
Vintage 6 3/4" tall Coca Cola Dry Server with a picture of a girl with her roller skates over her left shoulder and a bottle of Coke in her right in front of a Coke cooler. Says "It's the Real Thing". These are paper sleeves that were dispensed from old Coke machines. The refrigeration in the old machines made the bottles sweat, so you put the bottle in one of these sleeves to keep them dry. Some people call them bottle bags, but the are really sleeves. Dated 1932. These are in exceptional condition. These are from a huge collection of Coke items a friend had who searched old bottling plants and hauled this stuff out many years ago.

The launch was sponsored by Gamestop. These are all foil hologram Special Guest passes for the event. The reverse tells more info about the sponsors and the credential. Excellent unused condition.

Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

They have light staple rust marks. The one in the picture is typical. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

Vintage complete 32 card set of Exhibit Supply Blind Date cards. This is the version that was meant for females with pictures of guys and silly stories about them. They were originally printed in 1941 (dated) and so have lots of soldiers and those sorts of themes. Like most of their cards, they made these for another ten or twenty years after. This set is becoming nearly impossible to find. We had an unopened brick of the cards we assembled these from and they are pretty much perfect. You won't find a mint set for this kind of price anywhere else.

Uncommon and in excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of the late Gary Nichamin. He worked for most of his career as the main photographer, graphics designer, and stage manager for the Beach Boys. He not only designed most of their passes, but also was in charge of issuing them at the concerts.

Then there is a place for a signature that says "Your Milkman". The dairy was in Findlay, Ohio and they have a date code of 1968. They are in excellent unused condition.
