Vintage 9 1/2" tall vegetable label with an image of a gold miner panning for gold. They are from the Earl C. Recker Co. in Mesa, AZ and are marked as such. Vintage 12" wide envelope marked "Chessie System Railroads" "The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company" and "The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company". These are old unused stock from the 1970s in excellent condition. We got these from an old railroad worker locally who digs stuff out of the terminals and storage buildings around Cincinnati. Chessie was formed in 1973 till they merged with Seaboard to form CSX in 1980, so these are from the 1970s.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $12 (that's $1 each). Vintage 3 3/4" wital toy knife in sheath. These are from back in the day when toys were dangerous. Do not let a child play with this. The knife has a hard plastic handle with a dull metal blade. The sheath is plastic with a brass grommet. These are well made. Circa 1960. Nice unused condition. We found these in remote storage of a warehouse in northern Ohio.

King toured all the time, but you almost never see any backstage passes surface. This logo style was used during that time period. These are the first examples to surface and they are in unused condition. B. B. King is the king of the guitar. He is ranked #6 by Rolling Stone in their list of greatest guitarists of all time. He's no slouch as a singer either. He has won an incredible 15 grammy awards over his career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and is considered the most influential blues musician of all time.

Vintage 11 3/4" wide paper sign from around 1950 that says "Now! New England Sparkling Coffee in Bottles 5ยข". The product was basically coffee in a soda bottle. The bottles are rare. These signs are probably scarcer. These are the only ones that came out of the plant and they were found a long time ago.

These are vintage 9" wide can labels that say Bert Marshall's Grapefruit Juice. Heavily embossed and gilded (gold). Beautiful image. These came from the Do Soto Canning Co. in Arcadia Florida. This is a true collector label. They are very scarce and command high prices on Ebay. ($6 - $10 each). Excellent unused condition. Circa 1920s.

Vintage 2 3/4" tall Virgin Olive Oil bottle label. Says it was particularly valuable for food or medicine and talks about purity which would date it to around 1910. Purity was the catchword of the day in the 1910s after the passing of the Pure Food and Drug Act in 1906. Unused stock from the Philip Miller Drugstore in Chicago, IL. Great condition. There are lots of old olive oil bottles floating around but you rarely see the labels.

Vintage 2 3/4" tall when folded box that held Widlar's Crispy Pix snacks. It is made of cardboard with a tin closure and a copper handle. Nice unused condition, but do show signs of paper aging and spotty light rust on the metal tab. Treat these gently. The cardboard is old and a little brittle. These are very uncommon. Marked "Widlar's Crispy Pix" The Widlar Company Cleveland, Ohio". Widlar was a very old company that was famous for their coffee, but they only used "The Widlar Company" name (the one on these boxes) in the 1910s.

Vintage 6 3/4" tall Coca Cola Dry Server with a picture of a bottle of Coke and a hamburger on a tray. Says "So refreshing with food". These are paper sleeves that were dispensed from old Coke machines. The refrigeration in the old machines made the bottles sweat, so you put the bottle in one of these sleeves to keep them dry. Some people call them bottle bags, but the are really sleeves. Dated 1932. These are in exceptional condition. We just bought part of a huge collection of Coke items. These were part of the lot. The fellow that had this stuff is a friend who searched old bottling plants and hauled most of this stuff out many years ago.

More often known as "Con Ed", it is one of the largest energy companies in the United States. This company started operation in 1823 as the New York Gas Light Company. It has a lot of famous history. They were connected to the time in 1882 When Thomas Edison's Illuminating Company began supplying electricity to 59 customers. These are are dated 1976 or earlier. Used stock certificate in great condition.
