#CH326-32 - Gilbert Roland in "Riding the California Trail" Cisco Kid Movie Poster Broadside
#CH326-32 - Gilbert Roland in "Riding the California Trail" Cisco Kid Movie Poster Broadside
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 12 3/4" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1947 GIlbert Roland movie "Riding the California Trail". Says "The Cisco Kid... Too Rough for the Law But Just Right For the Ladies!". The Cisco Kid movies were one of the biggest draws back in the day. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

##MUSICBQ0231 - 1986 W.A.S.P. Licensed Pinback Button from "Button-Up"
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage colorful picture of the heavy metal group W.A.S.P.. Marked "Copyright 1986 W.A.S.P." around the rim, and from the late 1980s. It also says "Button-Up Co. 2011 Austin" (Please note - 2011 Austin Drive, Troy MI was their address, and the "2011" is often mistaken for the date - they are substantially older than that). These licensed types are very scarce, yet easy to identify by the licensing info on the side of the button. Most of the musical pinbacks that you see for sale on Ebay or other online sites are reproductions. These licensed types retail for much higher prices. They are unused, and we uncovered them very recently in an old vending warehouse here locally.

##MUSICBP0863 - Rare OTTO Laminated Mountain (Leslie West) 35th Anniversary Backstage Pass
##MUSICBP0863 - Rare OTTO Laminated Mountain (Leslie West) 35th Anniversary Backstage Pass
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. Vintage 4 1/2" tall laminated unmarked OTTO "Souvenir" backstage pass from the 2006 Mountain Anniversary Tour.  The front and back are identical. It pictures the cover of their 1971 album Nantucket Sleighride which was issued 35 years earlier. Everybody remembers their signature song, Mississippi Queen, from back in the day. Unfortunately, Leslie West (lead guitarist) passed away recently. These are very rare passes. I don't know why they marked "souvenir" in the designation, but I have seen it before on OTTO passes. Sometimes they will say  souvenir on one side and all access on the other. They used that designation on some anniversary passes. They are in excellent unused condition and all Mountain passes are super rare.

Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen.
