Embossed "Japan" on the back. A good friend of ours turned these up. They were in old rice paper boxes with straw dating them to the 1950s or earlier. Unsold old store stock in excellent unused condition.

WWII era red, white, and blue colors. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

They have standard button loops molded into the glass in the back. These came from a long closed warehouse in boxes marked Czechoslovakia. Some of the designs that were in the case were art deco designs, and so they are likely from the 1930s or earlier. These are very uncommon, and go for a buck each minimum on Ebay. You are not likely to see them anywhere else. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBP1164 - Group of 3 Different Nelson Mandela OTTO Laminated Backstage Passes from the 1990 Free South Africa Celebration at Oakland Stadium

Vintage 4 1/4" tall unmarked OTTO laminated backstage passes. These are from the Nelson Mandela appearance and musical celebration at Oakland Stadium on June 30, 1990 and are marked as such. There is one for production, one for performers, and one for stage hands.

Mandela had been imprisoned for various things over the years related to his activities to free South Africa, and was released for the last time on February 11, 1990 just a couple of months before this celebration of South Africa's freedom in Oakland. In 1993, he won the Nobel Peace Prize, and on May 10, 1994 he became South Africa's first democratically elected president. It's an incredible story. The passes are in excellent unused condition.

We found these in original bags of 72. A few of the bags were broken, but we repacked them. All are in perfect condition. Unsold old stock from an old store up in the northeast. Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage colorful picture of The Doors with Jim Morrison. Marked "Copyright 1986 Doors" around the rim, and from the late 1980s. It also says "Button-Up Co. 2011 Austin" (Please note - 2011 Austin Drive, Troy MI was their address, and the "2011" is often mistaken for the date - they are substantially older than that). These licensed types are very scarce, yet easy to identify by the licensing info on the side of the button. Most of the musical pinbacks that you see for sale on Ebay or other online sites are reproductions. These licensed types retail for much higher prices. We uncovered them very recently in an old vending warehouse here locally. Jim Morrison and the Doors, were of course, one of the most famous groups of all time. Excellent unused condition.

Each one has a different president on it with they years they served. The last president that was used in the set was John F.  Kennedy, so they were made somewhere around 1964. The lots will vary as to which presidents are in them because there were uneven amounts of various president. NO SPECIAL REQUESTS PLEASE. They are unused, but some will show staple rust. The ones shown in the large picture are typical. Please note that these caps usually list on Ebay for around $3 each. We are selling youi 25 for $3!. These came from an old collection we recently purchased.

There are kids, families, a fishing boy, and even an Indian label. You get 10 labels for $5 (that's 50¢ each). Most are 2" to 3" tall. These are incredibly detailed super colorful labels. They look fantastic on an old jar. All are from the 1930s. These came from several different peanut plants in Georgia, Florida, and New Hampshire. They are in excellent unused condition.
