#ZZMS051 - Klein Insurance Blotter by R. H. Palenske - Cowboy on Cliff
Vintage 9" tall Klein insurance blotter from around the 1920s (phone number is 3 digits). They have an image of a cowboy and his horse sitting on a cliff. Marked "Man's Friend" and "R. H. Palenske" who was a very famous artist. His works are very collectible and desirable and hang in the world`s finest galleries including the Smithsonian Institute, the Library of Congress, the New York Public Library and the Royal Gallery of London. I don't know much about art, but I suspect these are a real steal at this price. These are in unused condition and would look good framed.

The concert included Bruce Hornsby, Don Henley, Pat Metheny, Bonnie Raitt, and Gregory Hines. Bruce Hornsby has won three Grammys. Here is a little known fact - Bruce Hornsby was a member of the Grateful Dead from 1990 - 1992. Excellent unused condition from an old collection.

It says "Crisp-aire McIntosh from New York and New England Orchards" on the front with a space to write in the price. The backs says a lot of the same thing in a vertical format. The sign could be used either way.. These are from the 1960s when Crisp-aire McIntosh Apples were very popular. They came from the basement of a large store in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania called Trimble's. The store got signs with their deliveries and threw them in piles in the basement. They were never used, and are in very good condition.

You get 3 different vintage 1" to 5" wide glue bottle labels from the group shown in the picture for $.75 (that's 25¢ each). Specific ones will vary. They all came out of the Diamond Ink warehouse in Milwaukee and are from different time periods around 1900 and 1940. The four turn of the century ones say mucilage/cement on them and one even says it can be used for gluing crockery together. The three from around 1940 are all school paste labels. They are all wonderful labels to put on old bottles. Nice unused condition.

Vintage 42mm (1 5/8") diameter milk bottle cap from the early 1950s that says "Brown's Dairy Grade A Raw Milk Placerville, Calif". Nice colorful detailed image of the farm. They do have some very light rust on the staples, but are otherwise in excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

Click the picture to see a large version of the entire image in detail. Vintage 11 3/4" wide stock certificate says "Daryl Industries, Inc.". The company was headquartered in Miami, FL. They made high quality sliding glass doors and were bought out by Kohler in 2005. Very nice graphics with a woman ancient Greek attire hanging out with a lion. All are from around 1969. Colors and denominations may vary from the picture. Image is identical. These are used stock certificates that are in good used condition. They may have staple marks or some writing on them.
