#CS495 - Scarce Large Edmonson's Favorite Blackberries Label on an old Wax Seal Can

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Two sides are pictured. Vintage large 4 1/2" tall can. The cans are all soldered seam with a wax seal tin cap. The label is a scarce can label image with highly detailed stone litho images. Marked "W. L. Edmonson & Son, Goin, Tenn.". Fantastic detailed image of giant blackberries, owls, and a victorian lady with a basket. There is another side that shows a kid on the ground picking berries.Both the label and the can are circa 1920s. These are great decorator items. The cans show some aging/rust. The labels are in excellent condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. Bob found a hoard of unused old wax sealer cans from the 1920s many years ago, and pasted these labels on them and sold them to the Cracker Barrel. You might very well see them at your local Cracker Barrel. NO FOREIGN ORDERS ON THIS ONE. Sorry - They are just too heavy.

#BEADS0593 - Large 28mm Black and Gold Glass Intaglio Featuring a Harness Race - As low as $1 each

Vintage 28mm (1.1") wide intaglio. The gold backed glass with reverse painted incised black color give these a 3D image. Flat back. This is the older German (Not West German) type. They were imported by Ginsburg in New York sometime between 1946 and 1948. Perfect condition. They picture a man with a whip seated in a harness racer and the horse. There is also a flag showing they are just crossing the finish line. Very few of these have ever been found in perfect condition, but here they are. The depth effect in the picture is excellent. We found these at one of our favorite haunts up in the northeast.
