#TY899 - Early Celluloid and Hard Plastic Hand Painted Swiveling Head Rattle
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 5 3/8" tall rattle. The hard plastic ball in center has a hand painted face on each. Each side is a different color. The rest is made of thin celluloid. There is a metal post running up through it that the face rolls around on and rattles. These are very early plastic from around 1940. We were surprised to turn these up very recently. They are unusual. Color vary. They were covered in dust for many years, so you will have to wipe them off. Unsold old store stock that was never used.

This was an event held in New Orleans on November 9, 1994, and the fight was between Santos Cardona and Verno Phillips. These are unused old stock in excellent condition that we found in the OTTO (manufacturer) warehouse.

Vintage 4" wide packs of rare Dolly Show cards.  These were cards that could be cut up to make various paper dolls. The picture shows a pack and five random cards (there are 5 in a pack). Like most non-sports cards from the 1970s, these are becoming very difficult to find. They were made by Morris National Sales and are marked as such. Also marked "Copyright 1979 Editrice Imperia - Milan". Excellent unused condition.

Circa 1940. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

Vintage 6-1/4" long airplane when assembled. The wings have Coca Cola logos on them, and the tail says "Copyright 2000 The Coca Cola Company. All Rights Reserved".  They also have a Giftco sticker on them (they manufactured them along with a lot of other Coke merchandise). The stickers are dated 2000, so that is the year they were produced. Unsold old stock in excellent unused condition.

You can make the rings appear to come apart from each other. Simple to perform. These are from the early 1960s, and so older than child warning labels. Out of an unopened case that was in dry storage. They are in perfect condition. We recently found these in a warehouse up in Northern Ohio.

The reverse says "John Wayne Flying Leathernecks. These are unsold old store stock in great shape. These were sold by stores, and distributed as carnival prizes. The 5¢ stamp mark on the back of this one dates it to between 1968 and 1971. They are marked Trilby Posters, Venice California and have a place for a 5¢ stamp. Instead of postcard, it says poster-card. Excellent unused condition.

Nice image of an old beach car with a license plate that says "I'd Rather Be in the Front Row Beach Boys Tour". Uncommon and in excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of the late Gary Nichamin. He worked for most of his career as the main photographer, graphics designer, and stage manager for the Beach Boys. He not only designed most of their passes, but also was in charge of issuing them at the concerts.

Vintage 8 1/2" tall Coca Cola cardboard bottle hanger features "Mean" Joe Greene who starred in their famous Hey Kid, Catch! commercial around the same time. The back of the hanger has a sweepstakes entry to try and win dinner with Joe, a $50 gift certificate, a Mean Joe Greene Jersey, or store coupons. It has a great picture of Joe on it. It says all entries had to be posted by October 1981, so 1981 is the year they were made. Old plant stock in excellent unused condition. They are uncommon.
