##MUSICGD2016 - Grateful Dead Tour Sticker/Decal - Grateful Dead Bear in a Wreath of Roses

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5" wide Grateful Dead sticker/decal. These are high quality art decals. This type sticks on the outside of glass or a mirror or your pocket. They are in mint condition and can still be used. This one is from the 1980s. The decal features a Grateful Dead bear in a wreath of roses where you usually see the Bertha character. Excellent unused condition.

These Grateful Dead stickers/decals are old tour merchandise. I found them wrapped in plastic in boxes in master cases. They came from a distributor who sold them to tour vendors. The condition is pristine and they still will work as a car decal or window/mirror sticker. We found them packed away in storage boxes dated 1992 (many are older than that) and 1995 (year Jerry Garcia died). They are high quality artist renderings of Grateful Dead themes. Back in the day, the Dead did not monitor copyrights and that sort of thing, and in fact, at one point encouraged artists to do designs. The LA times explained it well “The Grateful Dead was famously lax in enforcing it’s intellectual property rights and trademarks, allowing fans to create their own designs using the band’s expansive iconography”. Since there was no serious monitoring or much concern back then, a lot of up and coming artists got involved in designing them. This is how some of them got their starts. Some of the sticker artists who designed these stickers went on to produce official licensed works for the Grateful Dead and other famous groups. These stickers include some by now famous designers including David Opie, and others. These 1995 and older stickers are very hard to find anymore.

#CH667 - Licensed Rocky Horror Show Pinback - Pictures Brad Majors

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1 1/2" diameter Rocky Horror Show pinback picturing the character Brad Majors. Marked "Copyright 1993 Twentieth Century Film Corp", and "Button-up" around the rim. The Rocky Horror Show is widely considered the most successful movie to develop a massive cult following. To this day, when the movie is shown at a large theater, it is a big event. Fans bear buttons and signs and sing along and speak all the lines while the movie is going on. These old licensed pinbacks are not common. Most you see on Ebay are modern. These are the old originals. We uncovered them in an old vending warehouse here locally. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBP1196 - Laminated OTTO All Area Access Pass for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) 1990 Wrestle Mania VI at the SkyDome

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. They have standard OTTO backs. At the bottom it says "copyright 1990 Titan Sports, Inc". These are unused old stock in excellent condition that we found in the OTTO (manufacturer) warehouse. This pass is from the Wrestle Mania VI event on April 1, 1990 at the SkyDome in Ontario, Canada. This was the sixth annual Wrestle Mania pay-per-view event, and the first Wrestle Mania held outside of the United States, and broke the record for the attendance at the SkyDome. Some of the big names at this match were Hulk Hogan, Rick Rude, The Ultimate Warrior, Jim Duggan, etc.

#CH326-32 - Gilbert Roland in "Riding the California Trail" Cisco Kid Movie Poster Broadside

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 12 3/4" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1947 GIlbert Roland movie "Riding the California Trail". Says "The Cisco Kid... Too Rough for the Law But Just Right For the Ladies!". The Cisco Kid movies were one of the biggest draws back in the day. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.
