Excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

It pictures a pineapple sundae with a cherry on top in a fancy glass cup. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. These are as 1950s as you can get.

#TY523 - Very Old Tin Litho Drug Store Candy Container with 1914 Date
Vintage 3" wide tin litho candy container. These were made by the West  Bros. Company of Westmoreland, PA in the mid 1910s. This one is a drug store and has the 1914 date on top of the doorway. They have cutout windows so kids could see the candy inside. The tin building sat over a glass container with candy in it.  Very few of the bases have ever been found, and as you can see, these have no bases. You can find out more about these in the authoritative book "The Complete American Glass Containers Handbook".  These were never used, and are in excellent condition for lithographed tin from their era, but do show aging. This is one of the hardest ones to find.
