Vintage 11" tall Lorillard letterhead. These were found in storage at the Brockmeyer Cigar Company in St. Louis, MO. They are letters that were written by Lorillard to Brockmeyer about shipping, the war (WWII), new brands, etc. No two alike. Nice image of Indians smoking a pipe. All are dated in the 1940s. Condition is pretty good on these, but they will have typical aging, folds, etc.

Vintage 4 3/4" tall OTTO cloth pass from the Halloween Horror Nights VII, Night of the Swinging Dead event at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida in 1997. This was the 7th year of this event being held, and ran from October 3-November 1, 1997. The slogan of the even was "You'll Never Sleep Again." The event had 3 haunted houses, 1 scarezone, 3 shows, and a parade. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage colorful 2 3/8" tall box that says Classic Car and pictures a 1911 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. The ashtray/stash box device inside has the same image. The device inside has a spring loaded cigarette/joint holder that pops out when you open it. It is a tin box that you could use as an ash tray or for joint storage. "Made in Hong Kong". These were sold as novelties and in head shops all over the country in the late 1960s into the early 1970s when stash boxes were all the rage. We found these at an old novelty distributorship in northern Ohio. Excellent unused condition. There were nine different variations (Cigarettes, Cars, Novelty) that we will be offering in this and future catalogs. They would make a really interesting collection.

(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 13 3/4" wide stock/Bond certificate from the West Shore Railroad Company. All are from the 1930/40s and have signatures, but look much older. Really nice graphics. This railroad was organized by J.P. Morgan in 1885, and were bought by New York Central in the early 1950s, but still ran under the West Shore Name until around the mid 1960s. These have some typical folds, etc. They came from the estate of friend and famous dealer Bob Secrist.

Vintage 1 7/8" tall poster stamp. These are circa 1940 and say "Charity Football Stadium Nov. 25". These advertised charity football games that were in Cleveland, Ohio and are ungummed (none in the series were gummed).  Poster (also called Cinderella) stamps were issued as advertising, but not for postal purposes. Most of them, like these, are larger than regular stamps. They are widely collected. These are in excellent unused condition and are uncommon. They were found at the estate of a Cleveland stamp dealer.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1 3/8" wide intaglio. These are very high quality with silver reverse painted details in incised glass. The edges have very fancy bevels. Very detailed picture of a single propeller airplane. These are German glass from the 1930s or earlier. The boxes they were in were marked West Germany from when they were repackaged and sold after WWII. The glass is crystal clear on these. Any color you see in the scan is from a reflection. Intaglios were a type of art glass that involved incising glass to create pictures. The incised area is then reverse painted.!

Hot Properties! merchandise was distributed through Spencer's and Hot Topics and other such stores.

It pictures a strawberry sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top in a fancy glass cup. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. These are as 1950s as you can get.

Vintage very large 17mm Cherry Brand Japanese Baroque Glass one holed bead with a pearlized coating. These are unusual. They were probably used as hatpin tops. One hole only. These were made by hand using old techniques and the shapes and lengths vary a great deal. They are circa 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you many know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day. Click on the image to see a larger picture with more detail.
