#CH289 - Gabby Hayes on Horse Postcard
Vintage 5 1/2" wide postcard of Gabby Hayes on a horse. These came from a collector who hoarded them a long time ago. They are marked "Western Art Post Card Co.". There is a spot on the reverse for a stamp. These are very uncommon and we are very pleased to have found them for you.  Gabby Hayes appeared in numerous famous westerns. He always played the role of scruffy sidekick to the lead actor in film after film. He was a very well known actor for many years. These are from around the mid 1950s and are in excellent unused condition.

#DC175 - Large D'Amelio's Chilled Orange Juice Bottle Cap with Dairy Pictured
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 52mm diameter milk bottle cap from around 1950 that says "D'Amelio's Dairy Chilled Orange Juice Frankfort, N.Y." It pictures a farm scene. Excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

#DC216 - Group of 10 Blank Milk Bottle Caps

Vintage 42mm diameter cardboard milk bottle caps with no printing on them. 42mm is the most common size and these are useful for those bottles where you can't find a cap with the dairy name on them. Circa 1950s. Unused condition. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#HH198 - Large Diecut Mechanical Valentine with Boy Driving a Choo Choo Train - Original Envelope

The bell on the smokestack swivels on a brass grommet. Nice condition. Nostalgic image. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

#SIGN236 - Diecut Diner Sign of a Pineapple Sundae with Whipped Cream and a Cherry on Top

It pictures a sundae with pineapple chunks and whipped cream and a cherry on top. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. These are as 1950s as you can get.

#TY629 - Auto and Hat Fake Nail Gag - Japan
Vintage 5" wide package contains a thick metal nail with flat end with a small point on it. You stuck the point in something and it looked like there was a thick nail embedded in whatever you stuck it in. Says "Auto and Hat Nail" "Plant this nail in the tire of someone's car. They'll be all set to fix a flat!" "Nail a hat or coat fast to the wall etc. A great fun maker" "Made in Japan". The fake nail is heavy duty and surprisingly well made. Circa 1950 or earlier. These are the old paper packages they used before plastic bags. This is the first we have seen of these in many years. Unsold old stock we found in the remote storage area of a store in Northern, Ohio.

These are from around 1950, and picture ocean waves and cranberries. Says standard cranberry barrel one fourth. Marked "Ocean Spray Cranberries" "A. D. Makepeace Company Warehem, Mass". Excellent unused condition. These came from long time dealer Lorie Cairns who recently sold us her inventory. Lorie was one of the pioneers in this business and we are very grateful to her. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage 8" wide check from A. H. Heisey & Co. in Newark, Ohio. Heisey Glass was some of the the finest made in America. These are from 1957 which was the year the company closed. They are marked "A. H. Heisey & Co. for more than 50 years Makers of America's Finest Handwrought Crystal". They are in used, but good condition. These came from the estate of friend and famous collector Bob Secrist.

Click the picture to see a large detailed image. Vintage 8 1/2" tall 6 panel brochure folds out to show a large devil with a pitchfork saying "Ah No Protection" and preparing to poke a chimney. The brochures are from around 1950 and advertise Aqua-Tite Waterproofing with a nice picture of a can on the cover. These are in excellent unused condition.

These are unused old stock from "Kavanagh Distributing Co. Los Angeles, Calif.". Circa 1950. We acquired these from long time dealer Lorie Cairns who recently sold us her inventory. #BEADS0818 - Group of Ten 8mm Cone Shaped White Glass Czech Beads

They are from around the 1950s. They are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0863 - Group of 70 12mm Solid Reddish Orange Colored Glass Cherry Brand Beads

Vintage temporary strands of reddish orange solid colored larger 12mm Cherry Brand Japanese beads. These were made by hand using old techniques. They are 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you many know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day. Click on the image to see a larger picture with more detail. Dust them off and they are like new again.

It features a recipe for "Candy Cane Jingle" which of course you made with Coke. There is also a recipe of "Lime Pine".  Nice piece of old Coke advertising.
