Vintage 10" wide Lake Wenatchee Pear crate label. Pictures a cabin on a lake in the mountains. The one pictured is a brownish background. When those run out, we will substitute one with a bluish background. They are otherwise identical. Found at the Cascoa Growers in Cashmere, WA. Marked 4/5 bushel. Nice unused condition. Circa 1940s. This is a great price on these. Check them out on Ebay.

Also marked "Mfg. under license from Joe Lowe Corporation New York, NY"

#PL155 - Early Rare Robert Taft Lapel Pin
Vintage 1" wide lapel pin says "Taft U.S. Senator". Robert Taft was local to this area (Cincinnati). These showed up at a local flea market where the family told me that they had been in the family since the 1940 Taft Senate race. I have not been able to find any other examples anywhere, so I am sure they are very scarce. They all have a little rust and aging, but I don't think you'll find another anywhere else. A Senate committee chaired by John F. Kennedy named Taft as one of the five greatest senators in American history, along with Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, John Calhoun, and Robert La Folette.
