#CS608.1 - MO-KO Malted Milk Display Box - AS IS
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 6 1/2" wide (when assembled) cardboard display box that was made to hold cans of MO-KO malted milk. They are circa 1920, and have phenomenal graphics with pictures on 3 sides, the top, and the flap which it says should be tucked in back of the cans (Making a sign) . The pictures speak for themselves. This is one of the nicest looking display boxes from this time period we have ever seen. 

They are unused old stock, but the cardboard has age marks, and is brittle. There may be a tear here or there too. When assembling, we advise using clear tape to hold the bottom parts together, so they don't break. Shipped folded flat.

Marked with the crew's names - "Chang-Diaz, Bolden, Sega, Reightler, Krikalev, and Davis". There is a pinch clamp on the back for attaching to clothing. This is an uncommon one. Excellent unused condition.

#MSH051 - Group of 2 Mechanical Mini Ash Tray/Hippie Stash Boxes in Original Boxes - Love Thy Neighbor

Vintage colorful 2 3/8" tall box. The ashtray/stash box , and the device inside says "Love Thy Neighbor" "But Don't Get Caught". This was from back in the day of free love. It pictures a couple dancing. The device inside has a spring loaded cigarette/joint holder that pops out when you open it. It is a tin box that you could use as an ash tray or for joint storage. "Made in Hong Kong". These were sold as novelties and in head shops all over the country in the late 1960s into the early 1970s when stash boxes were all the rage. We found these at an old novelty distributorship in northern Ohio. Excellent unused condition. There were nine different variations (Cigarettes, Cars, Novelty) that we will be offering in this and future catalogs. They would make a really interesting collection.

Two vintage 3 1/2" tall puzzles in a header bag marked "Jigsaw Puzzles 2 Piece" "Japan".  The puzzles themselves have a "Made in Japan" mark on them.  One puzzle shows a matador with his cape and the bull at a bullfight. One is horizontal and the other vertical as shown in the picture. The other shows a Scotsman with bagpipes and a castle in the background. These are old store stock in nice condition from around 1960.

It contains a deck of cards that picture Troy and Gabriella and the rest of the cast. High School Music was, in it's time, the most successful Disney Channel Original Movie ever made. The artist who designed the label was tring to make the connection between the name of the grower (Joe Maggio) and Joe Dimaggio (baseball player) who was very popular at that time (1940s). Unusual label that I got from a collection I bought. The collector was a fruit and vegetable inspector who ran into lots of unusual labels.

It pictures a beaded milk glass plate with a generous helping of Cherry ice cream in a glass dish. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. These are as 1950s as you can get.

Vintage 6 1/4" tall late 1940s route receipt from the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Logo says "Keystone Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc. Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania". These are old receipts that were still hanging around the plant. They were used and show who the order was sold to and how many cases of Coke and Soda Water they bought minus empty bottles and cases they returned. They are in very good shape.  Most will have a couple of tiny staple pinholes. Coca Cola route receipts are becoming widely collected as Coke checks have gotten scarcer and more expensive.  You can still assemble a nice collection of receipts from many different plants for a very reasonable price.

Stars pictured are Spencer Tracy, Robert Young, and Walter Brennan as Rogers Rangers (Marked as such on the back). These are unsold old store stock in great shape. These were sold by stores, and distributed as carnival prizes. The 5¢ stamp mark on the back of this one dates it to between 1968 and 1971. They are marked Trilby Posters, Venice California and have a place for a 5¢ stamp. Instead of postcard, it says poster-card. Excellent unused condition.

WEBN radio has sponsored this event every year. It was considered the largest fireworks display in the world at that time, and was put on by Rozzi fireworks. The show attracts nearly 500,000 people every year. Excellent unused condition.
