They are old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. These are as 1950s as you can get.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 26 Beads for $6 (about 22¢ each). Vintage temporary strand of fancy Cherry Brand Japanese Baroque beads. They are very large heavy 14mm diameter clear glass beads. The glass is transparent and very beautiful with dimples (they called it Baroque on the master case). As you can see in the picture, these were made by hand using old techniques. The crude shapes and unusual dimple really enhance the look. These are 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you may know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day. Click on the image to see a larger picture with more detail.

Vintage 33mm (1.3") diameter cap from the 1950s commemorating Women Sufferage in 1920. Pictures women putting votes in the ballot box. Says "1920" "Women Sufferage became a reality through the nineteenth amendment". These aren't real common, and are rare in perfect condition like this.  Most you will find have rust. These have none. Excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

It also pictures one of the 75th anniversary commemorative Coke glasses that were being given away. Genuine cardboard Coca Cola bottle hangers for only 50 cents! These are a great deal. We recently bought part of a huge collection of Coke items. These were part of the lot. The fellow that had this stuff is a friend who searched old bottling plants and hauled most of this stuff out many years ago. They are in excellent unused condition.

It has that classic 1960s look which is when they are from. We found these in an old store up north. The headers are identical on both sides. One side has a price or part number handwritten in a corner. Other than that, they are in excellent unused condition. These are still useful. I'm using one to clean up my desk right now.
