#BEADS0025 - 11mm Blue Japanese Crumb Glass Bead
40¢ per bead. Vintage 11mm Blue Japanese Crumb Glass Bead. While the glass was still hot, these beads were rolled around in various colors of tiny glass crumbs giving them a textured surface. These are unsold old stock from a warehouse on the West Coast. They are made in Japan and were imported in the late 1960s during the flower power hippie craze. They are all handmade and so the sizes will vary a little and they may not all be perfectly round.

They are Snoopy Occupational mugs from the Dupont Collection. The bottoms are stamped "Peanuts Characters: Copyright 1958 1965" "United Feature Syndicate" "Dupont Collection". They also have a "Made in Japan" sticker. Circa 1960s. These came from a cache of toys from a large distributorship that got hung up in bankruptcy in New York City many years ago, and are in perfect condition. We dug these out of the warehouse they ended up in. NO FOREIGN ORDERS ON THIS ONE.

The Sand Draggin' was designed and built by Bob Reisner, who was the foremost Southern California Custom Car Stylist at the time. The Sand Draggin' is still shown on tours and in car magazines throughout the country. The reverse pictures all the Reisner cars in black and white, and tells you how to get official show car decals. These are high quality prints, and are in excellent unused condition.

Says "Pure Milk from our own Herd Leonberg Dairy" "Bottled & Processed by Maier Dairy Co. Rochester, PA". 1960s. Cow pictured below the name. They are in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#CIR005 - James M. Cole Circus General Admission Ticket for Lamar, CO Show
Vintage 4 7/8" wide general admission ticket to the Cole Circus Show. They are marked "Lamar, CO" "Sunday, May 17, 1959" "Auspices Coachman's Club". This was for admission to the Main tent. There are two types. they look the same, except one says "Child 50¢" and the other "Adult $1.00". The child version is yellow. You can pick your preference from the pull down menu. These are paper tickets that would be passed out at stores in advance when the circus was coming. The stores would sell them and split the take with the circus when they got there.

These came from a fellow whose job it was to run ahead of the circus to prime the town they were going to. He would put up signs in yards in exchange for tickets. Give tickets to the local stores to sell, and take proofs to the local newspapers. He did this from about 1958 till 1962 for several circuses. This paper and a lot of other stuff we bought came from leftovers in his garage. The Cole Circus was one of the majors. It was equal to Ringling Brothers in the 1930s. When TV came around in the 1950s and 60s, many of these circuses had trouble. People got glued to the TV. The New Cole Brothers Circus was formed in the 1980s and it is still around today.

This is a 4 1/2" tall guest pass for the Fox Sports Battle of the Sexes on Ice event that was held on Novemeber 8, 1996 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. They are marked as such. The back is the standard OTTO back. According to Fox, this was a "Sexy sports competition that cast the best male ice skaters against the best female ice skaters. Each skater participated in 2 programs plus a spin and jump competition." The most well know skaters that participated were Nancy Kerrigan, Katarina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, and Kurt Browning. These passes are unused old stock in excellent condition.

The images often had no relation to the product. This was pretty risque stuff back then. Unused stock that was found at the F. H. Hogue Co. in Yuma, AZ. They have very light rippling if you look closely.
