Vintage 6 1/2" long cardboard box. These are old factory stock that were never filled and are great for an old toy display. They were made to contain a toy with a string that you pulled and it spun three tops at one time. These were found at the Weaver Manufacturing Co. in Elizabethtown, PA and are marked as such. Cool illustrations of the top and how it worked on the box.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 1/4" tall laminated OTTO Guest Access backstage pass from the 1998 Summer Tour. Unused old stock in great condition. Like most PHISH passes, they have blank backs.

In the late 1990s PHISH pictured a series of old TV and Sports Personalities on their passes. The Planet of the Apes series are just plain cool. For those not familiar, PHISH has a massive following. They are a "jam" and "improvisational" rock band that is loved by their fans. Because they don't play mainstream music, they get little mainstream radio play, but have still sold over 8 million albums, and have filled stadiums all over the country. They have a huge cult like following (people follow them around like the Grateful Dead) and their backstage passes are one of the most widely collected.

They are West German and from around the 1960s. They are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast. Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1" diameter good quality metal and cloisonné pinback made for the October 29, 1998 7th launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-95). This was a special mission because John Glenn was a crew member at 77 years old. which is the oldest cosmonaut ever. Marked with the crew's names - "Glenn, Mukai, Duque, Brown, Lindsey, Robinson, and Parazynski". Also says "Discovery" and has a very large "7" on it. There is a pinch clamp on the back for attaching to clothing. This is one of the most desirable ones in the series because of John Glenn. Excellent unused condition.

This was the first time an astronaut (Bruce McCandless) went untethered into space before returning to the capsule. Marked with the crew's names - "McCandless, Gibson, Brand, Stewart, and McNair". There is a loop for hanging on a necklace. Excellent unused condition.

There are tabs on the bottom sides that can be folded back to make the valentine stand up. Nice condition. Period look. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

You get the 10 passes for $7.50 (that's 75 cents each). There are 10 different passes, from varying dates, years, and events including RAW and Smackdown. Most are from around 2000. They are a mix of backstage, venue, and local crew passes.  The WWE was founded in 1953, and to this day is the largest wrestling promotion in the world.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage colorful picture of album cover for the Who's Quadrophenia album. Marked "Copyright 1989 P.P.M.C. (the mark that is common on a lot of Who licensed merchandise)" around the rim, and from the late 1980s. It also says "Button-Up Co. 2011 Austin" (Please note - 2011 Austin Drive, Troy MI was their address, and the "2011" is often mistaken for the date - they are substantially older than that). These licensed types are very scarce, yet easy to identify by the licensing info on the side of the button. Most of the musical pinbacks that you see for sale on Ebay or other online sites are reproductions. These licensed types retail for much higher prices. They are unused, and we uncovered them very recently in an old vending warehouse here locally.

Backstage OTTO cloth "Press Box Access" pass from the October 16, 1992 concert that was held by Columbia records at Madison Square Gardens to celebrate Bob Dylan's 30th anniversary as a recording artist. Dylan played along with many famous artists. Featured artists were Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, and George Harrison amongst other. They are in excellent unused condition.
