The beautiful images on the envelopes were printed in the 1940s. The price stamps and descriptions were printed in the 1950s. Excellent condition.

They are old stock that was never used from the plant in Springfield, MO, and are in excellent condition. Shipped flat. A quantity of these was found many years ago, but they are nearly impossible to find now and look great as part of an old country store display.

She was considered a bridge (card game) authority back in the day. Inside are recipes for Pork and Beans including info about how to decorate your bridge table. These are from the 1940s and are in nice shape with a little mionor age mark here and there. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage Long Distance tobacco wrapper. Unused stock from the Scotten, Dillon Company, Detroit, Michigan. These are very early and beatiful stone lithos. Circa 1910. A large lot of old boxes and paper were found at the Scotten Dillon warehouse many years ago. We just picked up several different types from the guy who rescued them, and he let loose of some of the oldest ones that were found. They are very nice and in excellent condition. The entire label is 12" long and wrapped around a plug of tobacco. The image pictured showed up on the front and is about 4" wide.

Vintage 13" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1949 Johnny Weissmuller movie "The Lost Tribe" where Johnny starred as Jungle Jim. Please click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

There are several different colors. you will get a mixture of colors if you order more than one. They stopped making brittle hard plastic in the 1960s due to child protection laws, and it has become very collectible. Old stock from one of our favorite toys stores. Excellent unused condition. Click the picture to see a larger more details image. Vintage Wrigley's gum snapping trick. Made of cardboard, paper, and metal and marked "Made in Japan". It has a lever like a mouse trap, so when you offer someone a stick of gum they get snapped by the lever. They still work and are the same size and look just like a real pack of gum except for the spelling of Wrigley's (they spelled it Wriggeyl's). Neat circa 1950s novelty in great shape. Unsold old stock found in warehouse storage.
