#HH140 - Pair of Christmas Candle Holders - Santa and a Bell on the Header
Vintage 8 1/2" tall package contains two candle holders. They are well made with wooden bases, brass inserts where the candles go, and aluminum fringe. The bases are marked "Made in Japan" and they are from the 1950s. Hard to see because of the glare in the picture but there is a nice illustration of a Santa head and Christmas bell on the header. They are in excellent condition and still useful. We recently found these not far from home in a warehouse we have been trying to get in for 20 years. These are unsold old stock that have been in dry storage and has not seen the light of day till now. They are in perfect condition.

#HH179 - Gauze Halloween Derby
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 11" deep gauze Halloween derby. Gauze masks and hats were what they wore before plastic. These are from around the 1940s. Maybe earlier. Colors vary. Like most gauze, they are not high quality, but they do have the look of the day. They may be a little off or have an odd cut to the gauze. That's the way they were made back then. We found these in an old store up in northern Ohio. Unsold old stock.
