#HH197 - Large Diecut Mechanical Valentine with Cat Driving a Choo Choo Train - Original Envelope
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 7" wide diecut mechanical valentine that features a cat driving a Choo Choo train. One of the large wheels swivels on a brass grommet. Nice condition. Fun image. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

Vintage 2 1/4" diameter uncommon Tipper Gore (Al Gore's wife) presidential election pin from the 2000 election. Simply says "Tipper Gore". Marked 2000 Tigereve Design around the rim. Excellent unused old stock in  perfect condition.

#SIGN131 - Large Old Icy Pi Ice Cream Treat Paper Sign
Vintage large 19" tall paper sign advertising Icy Pi. Icy Pi was a bin shaped cone with ice cream in it.  Sign says "Icy Pi something new to eat" "Not a Cone Not a Sandwich" "Ultra-Modern cake" "5¢ The Snappy Pal for Ice Cream Manufactured only by the Automatic Cone Co. Cambridge, Mass". These are unused posters from the product introduction in the 1920s. They are in nice shape witn some very minor edge staining. They show typical paper aging and may have a minor edge tear or two. They came from the estate of the famous dealer and friend, Bob Secrist.

It pictures a glass goblet with a large helping of vanilla ice cream. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. It pictures a plate with a large helping of Strawberry ice cream. They are unused old stock found in Pennsylvania. They were found at a distributor still in their shipping boxes dated 1953. #SP084 - Great Lakes Christmas Ale Coaster Ornament

They picture a bottle of the ale. The front and backs are identical. We got these locally from the basement of an old tavern. Everything down there was 15 to 40 years old, and so these are from somewhere in that time period. They are in excellent unused condition.

Pictures a musketeer and says "McEwan's India Pale Ale Brewed by Scottish Courage LTD." These were made around the time of the introduction of India Pale Ale in 1999. They measure 4" tall, and are in excellent unused condition.

Says "Stik-Trik Double Suction Cup" "Guaranteed to wear down the funny bone" "Aply the suction cup to the bottom of a coffee cup and saucer. When the coffee cup is picked up..... watch the fun" "Made in Japan". Unsold old 1950s store stock that we recently recovered from a warehouse in Northeast Ohio. Excellent condition. This type of humor with wonderful crazy illustration harkens back to a time when things were simpler.

#TY584 - Old Carded Bloody Razor Blade Gag - Great Graphics
Vintage 5 1/2" tall colorful display card with horrified lady has a fake razor blade on it that fits around your finger or toe. Old store stock in excellent unused condition. Variations of this gag have been around for a long time because of it's popularity. This is the 1960s version. We picked these up recently at one of our haunts up in Northern Ohio.

Rockwell Corporation was a huge American manufacturer involved in the space industry, defense, and all sort of of automotive and aircraft parts. These are are dated in the mid 1960s. Used stock certificate in great condition.

#ZZCE084 - 1890s Unissued Hooven & Allison Company Stock Certificate
Click the picture to see a large more detailed image. Vintage 11 1/2" wide stock certificate from "The Hooven & Allison Company". They were a company that made twine and rope in Xenia, Ohio. These were never issued, and so are not filled out. They have a spot for the date that says "A.D. 189_", so they are from the 1890s. Unused stock certificate in great condition.

#ZZZ092 - 1870s Check from the First National Bank of Indiana
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 8" wide check. Marked "State of Indiana" "First National Bank". This blue color is the scarce and more desirable one.  We have a friend who lives out that way that turned these up. They were in a string tied bundle and are totally unsearched. We are not going to search them, so there could be a rare signature in there. These were used checks with typical bank marks and perforations. All are dated 1878.

They all have the Owl image logo, and are from the Owl Drug Store in Astoria, Oregon. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Used and in nice shape.

#ZZZ194 - Group of 2 Pen-Jel Brochures with Jelly Recipes
Click the picture to see a large version of the image in detail. You get 2 for $1 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 11" wide (when opened - 3" tall when folded together) 20 panel brochure. The side pictured tells about the product and how to use it to make jelly and jam. The reverse has nine recipes. These were found with the full Pen-Jel boxes which are a separate listing in this catalog. They are from 1928. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Never used. They show typical paper aging.

These are the old thick cork from the 1930s. Very few caps from that era have survived. These are unused. They show some very minor signs of aging. You will never see any caps this age any nicer. Very scarce one. These are part of a large collection we recently purchased.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage Whistle Lemon Soda plastic lined soda bottle caps. This is an early plastic lined cap from around 1970. Says "Stempien Beverage Co. Detroit, MI" around the rim. Unused, and in excellent condition.

#BEADS0155 - Group of 12 Early Plastic Yellow and Tan Beads with a Speckled Pattern and Goldstone Flecks
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You will get 12 for $1.00 (that's around 8¢ each). Vintage hard plastic beads with a beautiful yellow, tan, and white speckled pattern that are 11-12mm in diameter. This is an early style of plastic that was made around 1950 or possibly earlier.

They are in unused condition, and like most of the others in this find, so far as we can tell, there are no other examples of these to be found anywhere online, or anywhere else period. These were the only plastic beads stashed away with the hippie beads, but are substantially older.

#BEADS0284 - Pair of Reverse Painted Golfer Intaglios
You get the pair for $1.50 - that's only about 75¢ each!. The larger one is 15mm in diameter and West German from the 1950/60s. The smaller one is 13mm in diameter and is Czech from the 1920/30s. The smaller one is very scarce and is the more valuable of the two.

This item is from our recent trip. We returned with these and over 100 other items! We found two separate warehouses loaded with beads, cameos, cabochons, charms, and other stuff that went as far back as the early 1900s. We are thrilled to share this stuff with you guys!
