#BEADS0876 - Large 18mm Foil Back Aqua Shield Rhinestone
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image (both sides pictured). Vintage large 18mm (.7") tall shield shaped rhinestone. Foiled pointy back. Packages said "West Germany Aqua". Circa 1950s. We found these in a long closed warehouse in the northeast. Perfect condition.

#BEADS0878.1 - Full Package of 1,440 Ruby Glass Chaton Roses (tiny rhinestones)

The package says "Ruby Chaton Roses No 16 Ten Gross". They are from around the 1950s, and marked West Germany. The packages are rough and show their age, but the rhinestones inside are in perfect condition. We found these in an old store up in the Northeast.

#BEADS0922 - Group of 12 Black and White Goldstone 14mm Plastic Cabochons
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for 1.44 (12¢ each). Vintage 14mm long plastic black base cabochons with spots of white and goldstone. These are very pretty and indistinguishable from glass, except they weigh a little less. 1950s made in USA. We found these in an old warehouse on the coast. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0948 - Group of One Dozen Czech Harlequin Glass Navette Shaped Cabochons - Fire Opals

Group of 12 vintage 15mm fancy harlequin glass (sometimes called fire opals) Czech cabochons from around the 1950/60s. These are uncommon and desirable. They are a clear glass with colored reflective foil embedded in them that makes them reflect various colors. Very beautiful and in excellent unused condition from one of our favorite hunting grounds in the northeast.

#BEADS0956 - Handmade Very Old Bubbled Glass Beads - Likely German or Venetian

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 4 for $2 (that's 50¢ each). These are roughly made and crude. Average diameter is 16mm, but they vary. The glass is full of bubbles and the center channel is very thick and is an irregular width that looks very much like what you see in old sulphide marbles. This type of glass was used in Germany around the turn of the century or before. Some Venetian glass from the same period that was sold as trade beads looked like this too. These beads came from the back of a very old store that used to specialize in old trade beads. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0967 - Large 17mm Green and White Agate Glass Cabachon
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 17-18mm oval cabochon. Both sides are flat. These are faux agate (glass made to look like agate). They are green and white. The exact designs vary from piece to piece, but are similar to the one pictured. They are Czechoslavakian and from the 1950s. Unused perfect condition from original packing. We found these in the remote storage area of an old warehouse up in the northeast.

#BEADS0974 - Faceted and Foiled 15mm Transparent Aquamarine Glass Rhinestone
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 15mm diameter transparent glass aquamarine Rondelle style Rhinestone. The fronts have multiple facets, and the backs are foiled and flat. These came from an old closed bead store just north of here. Master box was marked Czechoslovakia. Circa 1950. Excellent unused condition.

We found these in an old warehouse in New York City. They are dusty and need rinsing (please ignore the dust spots in the picture), but are in excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0995 - Silver Colored Hippie Era Peace Sign Bracelet
Click on the image to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 2 1/2" diameter hippie era peace sign bracelet. Silver colored metal wire and charm. The charm hanging from it is about 1+" tall. Late 1960s. These are unsold store stock that we found in remote storage of an old store. Decent quality and excellent condition.

#BEADSC0082 - Copper Bell Charm - Flat Bell
Vintage 3/8" tall copper coated steel bell charm. These are flat on the back side. These are old store stock from the late 1940s in unused condition. The copper has a nice patina. Steel charms with copper plating were mostly made right after WWII when the price of these metals was very cheap. The price escalated rapidly between 1946 and 1950 and almost all of the charm makers went over to plastic. These are U.S. made and were bought from the original maker many many years ago.

#BEADSC0260 - Translucent Green Turtle Charm - As low as 15¢
Vintage 18mm tall brass brass turtle charm with charm loop. Green resin was applied to the back, so the turtle is a pretty translucent green when viewed from the front. Unsold old stock circa 1970 from an old store up in the northeast we recently visited. Excellent unused condition.

#BF060 - Group of 10 Mello Yello Bottle Caps - Yellow Version - (Coke Product)
You get 10 for $1.00 (that's 10¢ each). Mello Yello plastic lined soda caps. These are from around 1980 and were found at the Coca Cola plant in Thomasville, NC. Excellent unused condition. Mello Yello was introduced in 1979 by Coke to compete with Mountain Dew.

#BF144 - Group of 10 Cork Lined R-Pep Soda Bottle Caps
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 10 for $2 (that's 20¢ each). Vintage rare cork lined R-Ped Soda bottle cap. Scarce one. These were found at the Clem Bottling Company plant building in dry storage In Malvern, Arkansas. Marked "R-Pep At 10 Refresh" "At 3 Re-Pep" "At 5 Repeat". Circa 1940s or older. If you look in soda labels, you will find that we have some of the labels that went with this cap too. Old stock in unused condition. The silver areas of the cap show some tin patina.

They went on cone top Super Coola soda cans that were made in the mid 1950s. Found in the old bottling plant in Narrows, VA. Don't have very many.

#BGTransport166 - Group of 5 Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Freight Bill Envelopes

#BGTransport500 - 1960s Surf Woody Postcard Print - George Barris
Vintage 5 1/2" wide postcard with custom car maker, George Barris' Surf Woody Car pictured. George created the car in 1965 and it was a huge hit. Ford displayed it at the Custom Car Caravan. Hot Rod Magazine devoted a full cover feature to it. These are postcard size prints put out by model kit maker AMT who made a model of this car in 1965.
