These are plastic strainers on a 6 3/4" display card that say "Vitex Plastic Strainer Will Not Rust or Tarnish" "A Renwal Product made in the U.S.A.". (Renwal info is in the lower left corner of the card). These are very early plastic from the late 1930s when plastic was considered the new miracle product that wouldn't rust. This is a super rare item. When Renwal first went in business in the late 1930s, they started out as one of the very first makers of plastic housewares such as this one. By 1940, they converted to a toy maker. Renwal is highly collected, and every Renwal toy collector needs one of these to represent how the company started. These would appeal to Renwal and early plastic collectors. The shipping box they were in had their original Broadway address on it. The cards have some minor curling (the one in the picture is typical), but they are in great condition for their age.
