#BEADS0589 - Very Rare and Very Large Japanese Glass Horn Bead - Red - As low as 75¢
Vintage very large 30mm across glass horn bead. The hole runs from one end to the other. Bright red, white and black colors.  These are Cherry Brand which was very high quality. Their horn beads are very rare and this is an even rarer large size They were made in Japan around 1950. Unsold old stock from an old store up in the northeast we recently visited. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0644 - Oxblood West German Pinch Bead - As low as 10¢ each
Vintage 10mm long West German pinch bead. They are shades of oxblood. Some are darker than others. Good quality. They are from around the 1950s. They are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0700 - Raised Relief 20mm Deep Cobalt and Gold Colored Warrior Glass Cameo
Vintage 20mm across early West German (1950s) glass cameo. Pictures a kneeling warrior in raised gold relief on a deep cobalt base. Flat reverse. Excellent never seen the light of day unused condition. We found these in deep storage in an old bead supply place in the northeast.

#BEADS0730 - Strand of 27 Very Large Cherry Brand 14mm Clear Baroque (Dimpled) Glass Beads
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 26 Beads for $6 (about 22¢ each). Vintage temporary strand of fancy Cherry Brand Japanese Baroque beads. They are very large heavy 14mm diameter clear glass beads. The glass is transparent and very beautiful with dimples (they called it Baroque on the master case). As you can see in the picture, these were made by hand using old techniques. The crude shapes and unusual dimple really enhance the look. These are 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you may know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. #BEADS0740 - Sew On Clear Rhinestone with Silvered Back - As low as 12¢ each

They are made of clear glass with a silvered coating on the back that makes then shiny. These are Czech and were made around the 1940s. Unsold old stock we found in the remote storage of an old store we recently visited. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0749 - Larger 23mm Lapis Lazuli Colored Glass Cabochon - As Low as 25¢ each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage larger 23mm long West German Lapis Lazuli (color marked on package) glass cabochon. It is an irregular shape and rounded on both sides. One side is a more solid darker blue, and the other is more mottled. You could use either side. They are from the 1950s. Perfect, never seen the light of day condition. We found these on a recent trip to the northeast to a warehouse that has not seen the light of day for many years.

#BEADS0848 - Very Large Glass Cabachon with Stripes - Japan

They have green and brown stripes that look like they were painted on the glass and then fired on. The backs are flat and painted white. The boxes were marked "Japan". Old stock from a warehouse up in the Northeast in excellent never seen the light of day condition.

#BEADS0861 - Strand of 24 Large Cherry Brand Glass 12mm Translucent Rose Baroque (Dimpled) Glass Beads

Think of Rauten Roses as multi-faceted flat backed rhinestones. They are very uncommon in this jet black color. The pieces are in unused perfect condition. #CE021 - Baby Blue Eyes Insignis Blue Nemophila Lone Star 10¢ Seed Pack - As Low As 25¢ each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 1/2" tall unfilled (empty) Baby Blue Eyes Insignis Blue 10¢ seed packet from the Lone Star Seed Co. in San Antonio, Texas. These are the only seed packets that are like this, but every one of them had been sealed previously and opened from the bottom, so there are glue marks where they were sealed. That is why the price is lower on these. The beautiful images on the envelopes were printed in the 1940s. The price stamps and descriptions were printed in the 1950s. Excellent condition.

#CH326-04  - Rare 1951 "Fury of the Congo" Johnny Weissmuller as Jungle Jim Movie Broadside/Poster
Vintage 13" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1951 Johnny Weissmuller movie, "Fury of the Congo". Johnny Weissmuller was very famous as an olympian and then in his movie role as Tarzan. In this movie he played "Jungle Jim". It was part of a series of Jungle Jim movies he did that were very popular. It says that the "Amazon Beauties Lead Johnny Into HIs Strangest Battles". It's a rare poster. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

#CH326-26 - William Boyd (Hopalong Cassidy) Riders of the Timberline Poster/Broadside - As low as $7.50 each

Vintage 12 3/4" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1941 movie "Riders of the Timberline" starring William Boyd who is better known as Hopalong Cassidy. This was one of his earlier movies. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. #DC100 - Scarce Schoppee Cardboard Creamer Milk Cap - Cow Pictured
Vintage 1 1/8" diameter milk cap that went on a small dairy creamer bottle. These go back to at least the 1930s and have a four digit phone number on them. They have a really nice cow head picture on them, and are marked "N. F. & J. C. Schoppee Machias, ME". Nice unused condition. These are pretty much perfect.

Vintage 42mm (1.7") diameter 1940s era milk cap. These are very colorful with a picture of grapefruit half. They say "Hietpas Dairy Farm RR3 Appleton, Wisconsin Ph. 42283". This is a very pretty cap and an a very uncommon one. Unused excellent condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

Vintage 42mm (1.7") diameter from around the 1930s or perhaps earlier (has a 3 digit phone number on it), milk bottle cap from the Pine Grove Dairy in Skaneateles, N.Y. Nice shape. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

Vintage 36mm (1 1/2") diameter milk bottle cap that says "Try our Fresh Cottage Cheese". These are great caps for bottles that you can't find a cap for name because they don't have a dairy name on them. They are in excellent unused condition, and came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.
